"THEY ARE THE PAINKILLER" Two bands-one town. RALF SCHEEPERS, singer of "TYRAN PACE" and MAT SINNER, the mainman of his band "SINNER". Both bands signed recording-contracts with "NOISE INTERNATIONAL". In an early stage, RALF& MAT made a session and thought about working together, but their band commitments came first. "TYRAN PACE" released two album on "NOISE" and a later split up. "SINNER" released four records on "NOISE" between ’85 and ’88 and they are still on the scene. SCHEEPER’S voice was established on the rock scene in the late eighties. First, there were negotiations with "HELLOWEEN", but then KAI HANSEN left the band to form his own outfit "GAMMA RAY" and offered RALF the vocal-position. He accepted, but after three successful albums and endless touring, he left the highly acclaimed band. The reason? As far as we know, HANSEN wanted RALF to relocate from Stuttgart to Hamburg, to work more intense on their act. RALF didn’t want to move and applied for the vocal- job in "JUDAS PRIEST". He got his own PRIEST coverband called "JUST PRIEST" incl. former SINNER drummer RALF SCHULZ, so RALF knows every detail of the songs. He received a letter of the Priest- Management, telling him he’s GLEN TIPTON’S favourite and an audition will be held later for the final three singers. The audition was never made ‘cause the band decided to pick up TIM OWENS for their new man. RALF was disillusioned about rock-business, but there was one show left for his cover band, where he needed a bassist’s and a guitarist’s help. Schulz asked his SINNER friends MAT SINNER and TOM NAUMANN to help out and they agreed to what they called "One show only"- fans who saw the concert where totally enthusiastic about this legendary performance. MAT, RALF & TOM decided to write some songs together and put RALF back on the map, but the success of SINNER’S latest album "JUDGEMENT DAY" postponed the start of their project. After SINNER fulfilled their commitments about their European tour in JAN/ FEB.’97, the three met and decided to hire a drummer for their project. Schultz told them about the best kept secret on the scene- KLAUS SPERLING, and after auditions he got the job. Four demo songs were recorded in April’97 and then sent to RALF’S long-time Japanese Record-Company JVC/VICTOR. The answer arrived early and the offer looked promising. The mood in the band is enthusiastic. RALF’s former bandmate KAI HANSEN joined the recordings on guitar for three songs and now their debut-album is ready to be released. You will hear 100% pure Metal-Rock. Honest, melodics, speedy & powerful. RALF’S highly acclaimed voice is in best shape. TOM confirms that he is one of the hottest gunslingers of the metal- scene, backed by one of todays most thunderous rhythm-sections.
