Have been in Antwerp, Belgium for nearly a week now.
On Monday I got a phonecall from Mrs.Runa Allan ,inviting me and my wife Caroline
to lunch at their seaside appartment.
It has been a glorious week weatherwise and today it's hot again though a bit cloudy.
We have aperitives on the terrace followed by a very nice three course lunch.
Runa and Peter are charming as ever and Peter proves that he's still
"a ladies man". My wife is very impressed.
He bows over to me and says;"We have one great thing in common..our taste in women"
and gives me that cheeky smile.
A wonderful afternoon.

A caricature of Peter's escape drawn by French Capt. Moizenko.
Capt.Paul Priem, the Senior Security Officer, who was known to be fond of the bottle,is bemoaning the fact that his castle isn't a fortress and the Scots come and fly out as they please.

"Mein Schloss ist nicht ein Schützenhaus
Die Schotten sind darin die Bienen
Die kommen ein und fliegen aus."
