Spirit Pages (continued)

H6) There are traits (of consciousness) that negate the traits of consciousness in the physical, so that the physical experience is extinguished and the Spirit experience is restored.

There are Spirit echoes to all physical statements, such as matter, guilt, fear, failure, time, age and so forth. Each response from Spirit represents a diametrically opposed state of consciousness that serves the purpose of negating that physical consciousness.

Although you cannot understand these counter-positions of consciousness in any way while in the physical experience, you can understand some aspects of these traits that provide a kind of breadcrumb trail out of the forest of physical confusion. This allows the physical identitys position to be enlightened by intermixing it with small elements of Spirit identity that take the form of understanding. So lets begin with some examples.

Guilt, as an example, is something we have discussed as being an idea that is absent from Spirit. You cant hurt anyone in Spirit (and thus in physical experience), and there is not even any trace of hatred or conflict between people there, because everyone is always getting what they want.

Guilt is a meaningless concept there. It has no meaning whatsoever and so it holds no power over any being there. It just does not relate in any way to the reality of Spirit. And so, it stands to reason that likewise any trace of guilt in physical consciousness must be extinguished before a persons consciousness can enter into Spirit to the degree necessary to form any kind of Spirit identity.

The counterpoint from Spirit to guilt is a concept we will call S-guilt. S-guilt is the idea that undoes the physical consciousness idea of guilt, reducing it eventually to nothing. To the degree that you explore and understand that idea consciously, and the degree to which you become identified with that understanding, you will be completely freed of guilt.

Lets begin by understanding that although we cant and wont be able to completely understand what S-guilt is (because it is a concept that falls outside of physical consciousness), we will understand enough of it to see what it is doing for us. And in knowing this, we will be able to repeat our success with other S-concepts.

Visualize yourself stepping into S-guilt as if it was a huge bubble-shaped structure. A door opens in its side and lets you in, closing behind you. It is clear and transparent like an actual bubble, but you can still see the boundaries of it.

While inside, you look around and see a floor of white light and a slowly swirling bunch of lights converging in a kind of whirlpool in midair. This is where all traces of guilt are being consumed from within you; it is just a visual representation of that process. As long as you are in this bubble this will occur naturally.

Hold in your hand a kind of dark bubble that feels like it is hollow and made of glass. It is the embodiment of all your remaining guilt. It is actually the ideas that prevent you from getting closure in Spirit as you need to. Release the globe and see it float up and enter into the whirlpool of energies that are converging.

As it gets closer to the center of this phenomenon, it shatters and then reforms as a somewhat smaller dark orb. Notice as this happens what insight pours into you about your personal feelings of guilt. Write those insights down now.

For example, when it shatters and reforms, I feel that whether or not you can fulfill other peoples fantasy desires for you is not a legitimate source of guilt. It is a fantasy on their part, and if they are disappointed that you do not fulfill that role they have cast you in, then they need to confront the illusory and fantasy nature of their original placement of you in that role.

In actuality, each person ultimately does what they want or what they think they have to. No one has the right to dictate to another mentally competent adult what the form and shape of their life should look like. This is because you are just one person out of billions in a vast world. If you imagine that you have special rights over another person, you have essentially cast that person into the role of slave to some degree.

A slave is a person who has been stripped of their human rights. No one has the implicit right to strip anyone of their human rights. Imprisonment is slavery that occurs when the societal idea of what a person should be or do is too deeply betrayed. When this fantasy is acted against, society acts against the individual to enforce that persons enslavement to the societal fantasy, because the person is harmful to society in some active way.

But if a person is not out harming or killing people, there is no basis for a competent adult being stripped of their human rights and being made into a slave simply because another person does not like the form and shape of their life.

When I see the dark globe shatter and reform again in an even smaller form, I understand that all human interactions are based on desire. And, there are two fundamental positions that a person can take, that of the active pursuer of a desire and that of the slave to another persons desire.

To the degree that slavery exists in a relationship, that one person in the pursuit of their desire seeks to enslave the other person in some way, that slavery is often enforced by guilt. When a person is enslaved, they are often given free things, such as financial or emotional support, presents, etc. These sometimes represent a kind of sacrifice on the part of the first person.

They make these sacrifices willingly, because they offset the loss of power and degradation that occur in the other party when they are aware that they are being forced to do things against their will. The concept of debt is created through these gifts and sacrifices that has to be offset by a sacrifice of equal expense made by the second person. So, gifts of sacrifice become the means of enslavement.

If two people have a relationship where they are cooperating in the pursuit of a single mutual desire, then the guilt may take the form of one person condemning the other, or themselves, for not making enough sacrifices towards the pursuit of their mutual desire. One person does not want to be used by the other person as an easy ride to that desire while they make all they effort. The ideal situation is a balance of sacrifice and effort on the part of both parties in the relationship.

Any degree of enslavement, even the slight degree that can occur when mutual sacrifices in the pursuit of a common goal are agreed upon, are ways of not seeing the reality of the other person in the relationship. When that person is revealed, ones personal fantasies about that person are meaningless. You see what the person is, and that is a collection of desires.

Knowing what a person wants, you see the person as they are. Enslavement is a way of not acknowledging the reality of what a person wants. To disguise and hide the persons reality and desires from ones own view is the way in which a person attempts to pursue a desire with another persons help while knowing that they dont want to pursue that desire at all.

To see another person is to have a conscience and to feel. To feel is to lose the power over a person by means of domination, because conscience steps in and prevents you from doing it anymore. So, to stop that from happening, the conscience is not awakened, and that is accomplished by in some not seeing what the other person actually wants. Games of guilt, fear, domination, gift-giving and self-sacrifice are the usual ways to accomplish this.

The selfhood of a person who is engaging in this kind of game is going to be in a constant state of attack and defense, guilt, forgiveness and fear. These intense emotions and maneuvers are not the person themselves. They do not reveal anything personal about that person. Rather, they achieve the opposite effect of depersonalizing them by reducing them to a series of reactions that have nothing to do with their own personal desires.

But if through various mental and physical activities a person is not able to block out the reality of the other persons desires, then they must either dehumanize themselves to a greater degree or they must give in and acknowledge that persons humanity and thus gain a soul.

Please do the above exercise yourself and write down your insights in your personal journal. Then, reread what you have written and think about it a bit. This can be used to overcome any negative feeling that is dominating your state of mind.

I) Pregnant with the Earth: You can be at any level in any hierarchical structure; including God. You can have love or pleasure from any form or shape of identity at any level of being. All experiences in Spirit are open to everyone. The hierarchical structure of the world serves to allow it to function, because it is an illusion and it needs forms and structures and therefore an underlying organization and order. But as a free being in Spirit you can be or do anything you wish. Whatever adventures come out of your exploration of your desires is ok.

Spirit is an open book, where all experiences are available to everyone. Any desire immediately brings forth its complete fulfillment, which comes as part of the idea of the desire. This is because any desire is simply the space that defines the outline of something desired, and as ideas are complete, the thing desired is part of the idea of what is wanted and therefore fulfillment is immediate, from a Spirit perspective.

But, as a being in Spirit explores a physical world or a semi-physical world, such as a typical afterlife state, that being enters into a time stream. So that time stream is seems to take a certain amount of time to play out the whole desire as an experience in time. When, in actuality, the experience takes no time in Spirit, as Spirit does not run on a single timeline.

So spirit allows both fluidity of experiences and identity. You can explore Spirit and experience being any being that has ever lived. You could be present at the first presidential inauguration or walk on the moon for the first time in mankinds history. You could be any being at any level of existence. It only requires the thought to make it happen.

This seems to break our rule that says that consciousness cannot be duplicated. But because the experience is used differently by each person, it becomes a unique experience for every consciousness that partakes in it. Because illusory experiences do not actually happen to a being in Spirit, but are a mental construct that requires that the Spirit being change its state of consciousness, then the event as it actually happens for this person in Spirit is different than any other time the experience has been explored.

Exercise: Explore the Hierarchy

In this exercise we will explore being other beings. Choose one person you know but dont know well enough to consider them more than an acquaintance, and another person who is famous but who you dont know.

Beginning with the person who you know, think of a situation where you interacted with them. Now, relive the situation through their eyes. See how they see and feel the situation unfolding. Are you surprised at what they felt?

Now, think of the famous person you have chosen and see a previous movie or event that they were involved in. Pick a particular scene and feel their reaction to the scene as it unfolds. Again, you might be surprised at what you feel.

Are these perceptions accurate? If your visualization ability is well developed, it probably is. With practice you can use other people who are open-minded enough to try it, and you can attempt to read their feelings about other people through photographs and so forth. These experiences will build up a bunker of positive reinforcements for your belief in what you are doing.

One example of many I can personally share was a friend who I did a reading for. I saw through his mothers eyes when he was young. She was standing in the kitchen, holding a baby in one arm while cutting vegetables with the other. She started to pass out and she called out my friends name, but he was asleep and didnt hear her. He was a child of about six at the time, according to my reading.

My friend had no recollection of that event, but he said he would ask his mother. Sure enough, the event did actually happen as it was described. She told him that he felt very guilty about not hearing her call after it happened.

I have more of these stories than I can count. The important thing is for you to have your own stories, so work with your own friends who are open minded and try to see what you can do. Dont be put off by failures. Ive had spectacular misses mixed in with amazingly accurate readings. Sometimes you may be seeing the future, a nearby persons psyche might have become accidentally involved or you may be projecting a fantasy.

Be careful about doing this with skeptical people; they will tend to try to use it to humiliate you. They can be difficult to read. Stick to people who are at least capable of entertaining the possibility that it might be real, they dont have to be true believers.

When I was in high school, I visited a friend at a university where I had many successful reading for him and his friends. But he had a neighbor who was intensely skeptical and my friend wanted me to give him a reading to convince him otherwise. But the reading was a complete bomb.

Why does another persons belief system matter? Maybe it didnt! People will actually lie rather than admit that you have proved them wrong. No one wants to be humiliated. And it is also possible that the pressure and stress of those kinds of testing situations are counter-conducive to doing psychic work. When I am relaxed and comfortable in the setting and with the people I am doing it for I get my best results. With experience, you can overcome the resistance of others, but being in their presence can be intimidating.

I1) Every conscious being at every level is engaged with and impacts every other level of reality in some way or form, to some degree, even if only non-consciously.

This can be thought of as the butterfly effect, but on a multi-dimensional level. The connections between various levels of being can be more easily understood if we look at the fundamental structure of reality itself. Reality is all within Spirit, which is to say that it is all within consciousness. Therefore, anything that happens on any imagined plane or level of being is really first and foremost happening in Spirit. The actual quality and appearance of that experience is completely different in Spirit than, for example, a physical beings experience of being in the world. But the Spirit version is the real one.

We can take the idea of the keystone as a metaphor for the value of each person in the system. Every person is like the keystone in an arch, they are the critical stone that if removed causes the entire structure to collapse. Every being fills a slot, and all slots are dependant on all other slots.

You might be able to imagine that for example, in a group of one hundred people that removing one, the others would simply fill in the tasks involved. But regardless of how seemingly insignificant the role that one person played, they could not be replaced. This is because all beings are precisely what they need to be to have what they want out of life. They cannot be moved around randomly. Their capabilities and resources are exactly matched to what they do. If they had to devote X amount of their resources to what someone else had to do, they would in some way not be able to fulfill the desires that brought them into life.

Only you can do what you do in the way you do it. It isnt just labor, it is more importantly your relationships and your simply being in the world that makes the difference. If, for example, you were to disappear one day, the role you were meant to play would remain empty. As an idea, the entire world is built out of you and many other consciousnesses. If your consciousness were missing from this structure, it would be impossible for the entire universe to function. You are, before anything else, an idea in a world of ideas. And as an idea that is part of a larger idea, that larger idea is dependant on you for everything that it does.

If we were just bodies and not ideas, then our value would still be impossible to calculate. We would have to be able to pick apart many future events to even begin to tackle such an issue. It might prove existentially impossible. But we are ideas, not things, and the vast majority of what we contribute to the world is invisible or untraceable.

Think of it this way, our thoughts and feelings are also part of the environment. Everything we think and feel goes into the environment. Our feelings as ideas and our thoughts as ideas stick to objects, infusing them with their particular energy. Our bodies are infused with this energy. Every single thing we do, we do with everyone. Everyone shares in the experience we are having. We never think one thought or feel one emotion alone.

Nothing in the physical illusion acts on anything else, it is all pre-formed by intelligence. Nothing in it contains free agency to act or affect anything else in the illusion. But all things in the illusion interact with all other things, and everything in Spirit is part of everything else in Spirit. This includes the physical experience, which is actually occurring in Spirit, but as I said earlier, looks completely different from that perspective.

So to affect or influence may not be the best terms, but they sort of allude to the meaning I am trying to convey. Nothing happens in a vacuum and everything here matters and impacts everything else.

As the physical illusion is essentially one thing, it is a complete structure that is dependent on past, present and future events taking a precise shape and form. And withdrawal of any consciousness from that system would render it impossible. The persons real contribution would be that their consciousness as a Spirit being would be part of the whole creation. Everyone involved in it is needed.

The fact than no one is removed from or discards the process is a result of the truth that all beings are one in reality. That means that all beings are ultimately one being in Spirit, so there is only one will in operation here. The appearance of individual identities working towards a mutual goal is just an illusion, although it is an illusion that Spirit allows them. Spirit is generous in that it does not take away anything from people; instead it preserves what they value forever. Freedom to explore beyond identity is given while all phases of ones life as a series of identities is held perfectly by Spirit for all time.

As a kind of exercise in metaphysical logic, it is interesting to take the idea of the necessity of each individual in Spirit by looking at what removing that individual would mean at the level of the ultimate one being that we all are. If that one being, whatever it may be, is an idea, and that idea is made up of other ideas (all illusory identities), then to remove any one idea (identity) from that singular idea would change it into another idea. And in doing that, the One could no longer be the One, but something else, because anything other than the One would by logic not be the One.

So, the clarity and logic by which ideas operate are the stepping-stones that allow us to ascend into and explore higher reality though logical extension. We use logic to access the Truth through a progression of our thought based on logic. And although it may seem like a bunch of abstract mind-screw, it is actually the most powerful truth about ideas, that they are accessible to all and logical and can take you anywhere.

Exercise: Puzzle Pieces

In this exercise we will look at a problem or negative feeling we are dealing with in light of the larger context of being. Begin by getting relaxed and having a paper and pen handy. Pick out the one problem or negative feeling you want to deal with.

See a large jigsaw puzzle with many pieces spread out in front of you. Pick out one piece to represent your problem. Now, see all the other pieces of this puzzle as being completely assembled so that the picture of a large glowing sun, representing the One Being, appears on the puzzle. Place this piece in the puzzle where it belongs to make the puzzle truly complete.

Now, go into the puzzle piece while it is part of the puzzle and see it as an environment around you. You will see a scene that metaphorically describes the true nature of this problem, when seen in context as being part of the One Being idea. Allow the scene to completely gel and then see if anything happens to clarify the meaning of this scene. Write out what you see and what happens and also note the meaning, which will be clear to you during the scene.

For example, I was having some back problems. In my scene I saw a cattle pen, but the cattle and the fence were all made out of mud. The cattle, however, ate grass and acted like regular cattle. This cattle pen represents the physical world. It is fenced off from Spirit, although part of it. The physical world is ugly and heavy. It is in reality a lifeless thing, given a kind of illusory life through being animated in a particular way. The beauty and perfection of the countryside surrounding the pen represents the perfection of Spirit. The physical seems to attempt to create a new kind of life out of matter, but fails horribly. However, this seeming failure was its purpose all along, to demonstrate that there is simply no alternative to the perfection of Spirit. To create anything as an alternative to Spirit fails and the result is an abomination. But, that abomination can be carried back to Spirit where it will become something beautiful.

This message in turn relates to my back problem in that I can see that the failure of my body to feel the way I want is a message that I need to acknowledge that the word living or life only apply to being in Spirit, and to apply it to the physical form of Spirit is a joke. I may have been putting too much effort and energy into sincerely trying to live my life when the point is that lifes failure to feel like a life is exactly the point; only life in Spirit will truly feel like life, so accept how the physical feels as a message about the truth of things rather than looking for an alternative world or lifestyle that works. It is impossible to make the physical work except through self-delusion and extreme denial. That is the lesson and the message for me (and perhaps you as well). But in this acceptance there can be born a new peace that comes from living in the light of Spirit.

At any rate, do a description and analysis of the scene that unfolds, and allow the scene to change and have stages if it needs to. Write out what you see and what it means and so forth as I did with my own scene, above. What did your scene teach you?

I2) The understanding in any being is part of any number of other beings understandings, but that initial beings understanding represents a unique understanding of things that is not duplicated anywhere.

In other words, even a limited understanding is a unique understanding, and all unique understandings add something unique to existence. The uniqueness of your particular understanding of your role in the world, in your family or at a particular job may not be in that you and only you have these understanding, but in the fact that you have these understandings in particular amounts and in particular configurations. Thus, if we were to say that your understandings overall have a body of sorts, the form and shape of that body would be unique. And, furthermore, that unique body of understanding would in essence constitute a unique kind of understanding itself.

But what is the point of having a unique understanding if that understanding is not only not singular to you but also rather common to the whole population? It is the perfect form and shape and combination of understandings to elicit a particular shift of understanding within the people who have them. Even though there are different kinds of medication that are chemically similar in the treatment of one kind of mental illness, only one might be the right medication for a particular patient. So, your understanding serves a special purpose in terms of its accessibility to others.

From common sense wisdom to the most abstract sorts of wisdom and understanding, it is not only the understanding that is held that is significant, but also the degree to which it is held. For example, do you understand oppression from having had an oppressive summer job once, or were you kidnapped and enslaved by a stranger for six months? The degree of understanding and its closeness to your heart is important.

Threads of wisdom and understanding connect everyone and everything. However, these connections can be more real and binding than people realize. For example, a person who has cast the world in a particular light in their mind, saying that there is or is not a God, or many gods or that life is simply material in nature and finite, has vast implications on how a person treats other people, acts in the world and processes every piece of information that comes through them.

There is no understanding that comes to rest with a person that is not held with some degree of attachment and ego identification. As such, every belief represents a barrier against the world and a means of establishing ego boundaries. If the belief is threatened, it creates stress in the self that needs to be dealt with. So, there can be no belief, even an absence of belief in God that is not protected against the onslaught of reality to some degree. In this way people develop a purpose, an agenda in the world, to support and protect their own beliefs and to overturn, deny, cover up or destroy evidence to the contrary of those beliefs.

We become servants of our own belief system and our beliefs become hardened attachments as we become adults. Then we act to destroy the messenger when it arises in the world and tries to convince us of the invalidity of our beliefs. By doing this we to some degree become filters that feed off of agreement with our beliefs and we deny, reflect or attack what does not agree with our beliefs.

The problem with our more abstract beliefs is that they dont always translate well into a physical world. What ties this world we see to our abstract belief? How should the physical world behave if our abstract belief is true? How should we act so that we are in accordance with this abstract belief? When the world doesnt behave the way our abstract belief seems to suggest, do we challenge the belief or attack our interpretation of how the abstract belief looks in the physical world? There are many unanswered questions and the potential for a great deal of confusion.

The uniqueness of our beliefs has a huge impact on the overall shape of our being, our character and our personality. Of course it has a great bearing on our conscience and what we consider to be moral. But for people who are not by their own definition very philosophical, they may tend to reject the idea that beliefs are important at all. However, even their beliefs massively define who they are.

However, they tend to embrace a materialistic philosophy that also in turns binds them to an agenda against the abstract and philosophical. This bias is more than it appears to be at the surface. It is an attempt to deny anything that appears to raise a person, in their minds, above being a piece of meat. So, they must then even attack and denigrate the obvious impact of their own personal philosophy on their way of being in the world. But not everyone with a personal philosophy based in materialism is anti-philosophical by any means.

The point is that regardless of whether or not a person knows or admits it, their world view philosophically and their understanding of the world at all levels is unique and defines many of their traits and experiences. That represents a unique creation in the world and that uniqueness is important in its impact on the world. That impact is unique.

Understandings that lead away from the truth also have the secondary effect of leading us into the truth. Because, as we take on false beliefs, we see a darkened world and it increasingly becomes impossible for us to be happy. This unhappiness then causes us to question ourselves and our lives in ways that cause us to ultimately grow. Although the path is winding it leads us inevitably to our destination, Spirit.

People can learn from us in a negative sense, in terms of not being like us. We may also be misled by the seeming prosperity of a person into emulating their personal philosophy, only to find that it takes from us more than it gives, that it seems to work for them but leaves us somehow worse off internally.

Ive thought a lot in my life about the idea of the Faustian bargain. The appeal and the horror of worshiping negative level beings to obtain occult power while they in turn give you carte blanc permission to use that power in the world any way that you wish. What does a person pay for such a deal, if, in fact, it is possible at all?

Ive met people are read the writings of people who were Devil worshippers and interacted with people who worshipped who-knows-what, but I never saw any of these people living particularly extraordinary lives. That is to say, they werent moving objects with their mind, living in mansions or bending people to their will, at least as far as I could see. Rather, they gave themselves permission to be bad, to party and have sex and use drugs and buck the culture in other ways. But they kept societys stigma against them intact while they did it.

Consciousness only really does one thing, and that is to evolve. Evolution is peculiar in that it does not move in a straight line but in a spiral. Our beliefs constantly shift to some degree or another, some people shifting more radically than others at any one moment. But we are constantly tempted to move against the truth. In doing so, perhaps it is a kind of Faustian bargain in that we eventually come to realize that we have made a mistake, and that the cost of having all that we wanted through this belief was too high.

It is ironic that in the end it is not the having of sex, or drugs, or things or wealth that is the real cause of regret, but guilt itself. And this is not realized until the very end. When we are at the point where we are ready to move beyond guilt, we have already made right with the world and tried to be good people. It is only then when we are reformed that we see that reform was unnecessary. It was simply the giving up of guilt that we really needed all along. But we cant, for some reason, reach that understanding as long as we are at the level of belief that involves criminality in our thinking.

At no point along the way is our direction of evolution obvious. We cant guess where we are headed. In fact, it is a defining feature of evolution that it is a blind curve in the road. We see it when we get there. So, judging our degree of evolution is really meaningless, as there are no real yardsticks for it. Morality is not the yardstick, although it can be indicative in some cases, it can be misleading in others. A person can change drastically in little or no time. The understanding we have after we die may be light years ahead of where we are now, and the most depressingly low-vibrating people can reach the heights in this way.

So, evolution of our beliefs is misleading, and I think that the way we judge ourselves based on our beliefs is misleading as well. We may ultimately be embarrassed of many of our previous beliefs, but they all ultimately are used as specific tools in the evolutionary development of the consciousness of other beings. We cannot know their value or meaning at any step along the way, we can only see it unfold in our lives as we progress. And what we define as progress today may prove to be meaningless tomorrow.

For this reason I am suspicious of people who hold philosophies that denigrate themselves or others. We cannot prejudge or know what we mean as people and what our beliefs are worth. But when we are unhappy and our life isnt working, we must surely know that it is a call for us to change. But the form and shape of that change is entirely dictated by our life and we cannot play producer to it and attempt to subvert the teaching role ourselves. Rather, we can only move along at the pace that our life drags us along, or sometimes leads us willingly, and the more broad and all-encompassing our willingness is, the more often we will be lead rather than dragged. But everyone will sometimes be dragged.

This model of evolution from the school of tough love is misleading. When we think in terms of this kind of harsh tactic in teaching us, we must think that we deserve to be hurt. In fact, what I think is the case is that our understanding usually involves guilt, because we are living in a world defined by guilt and pain. And as pain only arises out of guilt and no other source, it stands to reason that life teaches us by pain as long as pain is the only language we will really listen to, because we are living in guilt.

When we stop engaging in guilt and condemnation of others, in blame and shame, there is no reason for us to see this world of violence at all nor is there any reason for us to be taught through pain, because now we speak a different language.

As long as we are looking to replace the value of pleasure and joy with some other kind of value, we are looking to replace pleasure with pain. When we do this we know that we have allowed guilt to overshadow our world. Our beliefs will then condemn others and ourselves.

If you cannot find a place of no guilt within yourself, or not very naturally or easily, then see Spirit as a light like the sun, shining down on you. Visualizing this, ask it to teach you in a manner consistent with no guilt, in a way that does not involve pain. Then you will be lead gently, and you can ask specifically to apply this to any understanding where you are currently being taught through suffering. Ask Spirit to teach you the same lesson without pain and guilt, and Spirit will gladly do it.

Furthermore, by doing this consistently, you will begin to see a pattern of understanding emerge that will become a road you can generally follow. Then you can begin to live beyond guilt, and when you slip back into it, you can self-correct and follow the road again.

Exercise: Teachers Vantage Point

Begin by thinking of a real person or imaginary character and think of an area of their life that they are suffering in. See them suffering in a particular way and write down the form of their suffering.

Now, see them asking Spirit to teach them the same lesson that their current is teaching them in a non-guilt form that is free from suffering. Now, identify with Spirit in this context and see from that vantage point how you just changed what they are being taught in terms of the form of the lesson so that their suffering is relieved. How did you teach them without creating suffering? How did it relieve their suffering?

Here is an example that I came up with. I had heard of the story of a nun. She was suffering was a nun who developed a rare disease. She lost faith as a result of the tremendous pain that she was in. She did research on her disease and eventually died from it. Before she died she gained a kind of dark faith in God again.

In the alternative scenario she prayed to Spirit. As a result of her praying to Spirit, she saw someone who had injured their hand in a car accident. It occurred to her at that moment (through Spirit) that guilt, anger and pain are all the same thing. She then spent her time devoting herself to being relieved of all guilt, shame, anger and blame.

She soon after died peacefully and without pain in her home. After she died she saw God in Spirit and knew why her life had ended in her suffering that disease. She was then liberated from pain and guilt and anger entirely.

Now, do the same thing for yourself. Identify with Spirit and see your physical self asking Spirit to be taught a lesson that is currently being learned through suffering, without suffering. Choose one area of your life where you are suffering as the example to work with and see how Spirit teaches your without creating suffering for you. Take notes in your journal.

Finally, actually do what you imagined. Choose some area where you are suffering and see Spirit shining down on you. Ask Spirit to teach you the same lesson but without suffering. Then, repeat this for any other areas of your life where you are suffering.
