Her arms were lifted up as she unscrewed it, her shirt rising, revealing her bare back. When she leaned down to pick up the new bulb, she smiled at him. Something about this told John she was actually attempting to tease him. The sly smile, the way she carried herself was enough to make any red blooded male sweat. She didn't *have* to *try* to tease John. She was a tease no matter what she did near John, whether she knew it or John. When she was done, she turned to step down, but those heels made her trip slightly and fall in John's arms. They were close. He could feel her breath on his face, which was quick and choppy from the scare. She smiled brightly at him. "You okay?" he asked. "Yes." She said, and with that he tried to let go, but something inside him was forcing him to keep his arms around her waist. "What are we doing here, Monica?" "You don't know?" "Well, I meant-" "It's Gravitational Pull, John." She smiled that teasing smile. "What?" "John, didn't you learn this in sixth grade science? Gravity pulls everything together. The bigger the mass, the bigger the gravitational pull." He was catching on to her little game. As long as there was science, they could blame it all on gravity. "So you're saying," he said, leaning a little closer. He placed a soft, gentle timid kiss on her lips and looked at her. "That was gravity?" "All gravity. And this too." She placed her hands on his neck and pulled his head closer. "And this?" This kiss was slightly less timid, a little more passionate and long, since "gravity" seemed to be strong at this moment. Then when it broke and the moment was over, she stepped back and smiled at him. "Where did the gravity go?" he asked with a small grin. "John…there will always be gravity." She smiled. "Good." *** Notes: Okay, the other day I was looking through my Middle School Yearbook and saw the face of my sixth grade science teacher. I remembered this little story that happened back in sixth grade, and it inspired me to write this. We were learning about gravity in science class, and I thought it was a bunch of bull shit. I didn't believe in gravity. Being a huge Phile, I thought it was a conspiracy. (actually, I still do…) This once, my boyfriend and I skipped science to go into the bathroom and make out. My science teacher walked into a stall, so we ran out of our little stall and into the hall. Well, in our school there is the door that you take to enter the school, then there is this little box thing, and another door that goes into the hallways. So we ran into the little box thing and started going at it again, when the doors flew open and there was my science teacher. She asked us what we had to say for ourselves and I just replied, "Gravity pulled us together."
