"She resembled one of Correggio's young virgins nailed to the martyr's stake, twisting about in the cords that bound them to avoid the looks that defiled their chastity.
The clothes of the young French schoolgirl, cut undoubtedly for the lank waist and thin arms and shoulders of a girl of thirteen or fourteen years who had been shut up in the house all her life, were much too small for the well developed form and rounded shoulders, strongly riveted upon the body, of this charming daughter of the sun and sea. The dress had burst out in several places, at the shoulders, at the bosom, around the waist, like the bark of a sycamore that is torn from the branches of the tree by the force of its spring sap. The sewing girls had tried to pin the dress and the cape here and there, but nature had torn the stuff at every movement. In several spots I could see the girl's bare neck through the holes in the silk, and her bare arms under the patches. The coarse stuff of her undergarment bulged out through the cape and dress, and its rude texture contrasted strangely with the elegance of the silk. The arms, ill at ease in the short, tight sleeves, came out like the butterfly from its chrysalis as it swells and burst. Her feet, usually naked, stretched the satin slippers which seemed to imprison them with their tightly drawn strings, giving them the appearance of sandals on her limbs.

One male (a corrupt priest) is returned to infancy, while a bandit who sexually attacks a young girl is regressed past birth to nothingness. The heroine who was sexually abused by her brother is regressed into a childish innocent after being touched by the waters. She runs off naked to play with the children of the valley, no longer feeling any guilt about sex or nudity. She returns later because of the hero's love, but has been changed into a young virgin girl by then.

- "The Agent": Former circus performer Leona Mills (Carri Wagner), the mother of Rachel Mills, can transfer age to and from a person or object.
Chapter 9: A shape like a rotting body, with eyes and mouth all caved-in, rises out of a coffin in the back tent of a circus. The body disappears back into the coffin. A voice is coming from the "thing", which sits up again now. Its hollow eyes glance at Anna, then it reaches out and grabs a chair. The chair begins to age, turning black and finally collapsing into dust. As this occurs, the corpse becomes a young woman.
Chapter 10: Some changes are noticed, including age-lines deepening in her face, making her suddenly appear to be middle-aged.
Chapter 12: She gives some of her youth to some rotting wood.

A group of odd children are ice skating, dressed in modern attire. Only one child, a girl in a purple dress, seems hospitable toward Larry, mutely directing him to follow her. The pair crosses a bizarre icy canyon. They enter a room with reflective icy walls. The girl begins to admire her image in the mirror-like walls. When Larry looks up at her reflection, he is amazed to see not a little girl, but a buxom and beautiful woman in a red dress! "Your reflection," Larry sputters, "you're beautiful! What happened?" This time the girl finally replies. The seductive brunette explains that it was actually Larry that had magically made her reflection appear older. Before he can utter a response, the reflection appears in front of him, grabbing his hand. The two sit down on a couch while the transformed girl explains that only in that room with him would she be a woman, and upon leaving she would revert again to being a child, a transformation she desperately hopes to avoid. Larry lofts the bench high above his head and throws it into a mirrored wall. He succeeds in shattering the mirror, but then the entire room begins to collapse. A scientist has invented a rejuvenation process (part chemical/part machine) and uses it on a retired British politician so he can keep up with his young new wife. But the process needs to be replenished monthly, and the politician's wife has inserted herself between him and the scientist so he'll do as she says. The process took him from old to middle age. But then the evil THRUSH agents kidnap the wife to get the process and control it. UNCLE agents try to prevent that. The politician soon sees the process as a curse and suggests the scientist destroy it. Realizing that THRUSH could torture the information out of him, the scientist commits suicide with his own process, as on reaching pre-puberty his body gives out. (We see a 12-year-old boy with a now dark mustache).
