This version is called "v1.2.5 2016" - The version shows up in the the game "options" bottom right corner.Previous version was "1.2.4 BETA"
This file last modified on 20 March 2016 by Val Novak in Moose Jaw Sask.,Canada thanks to a tip
by Charlie Ward in Brunswick Maine for discovering how to modify the race.bin file
from a solution he found by beatcracker on http://superuser.com/questions/880216/windows-8-1-directdraw-and-compatibility-with-older-games
THIS race.bin ALLOWS VIPER RACING TO RUN ON MOST NEWER GRAPHICS CARDS.
Works on ALL Windows 32 and 64 bit including 10.

Copy and paste this new race.bin file into your Viper Racing / Data folder overwriting the old one.

What this modified file does is allows Viper Racing to run very high detailed ( high polygon and high vertex count )
cars and tracks.

=Details=

- 95,000 polygon track support.

- Allows 20,000 vertex per object.
As each car may have more than one object 100,000 polygon cars are now possible,
but there is still a limit for total number of vertexes per track, car and AI cars.
For instance, the game may crash when having 14 AI cars with 20,000 polygons each.

- Rear Spolier ( wing ) on original viper.car (carnameS.mod) now visible without having to manually edit the option.cfg file.

- Mirror now visible in F1 to F8 driving view, if enabled.
