On the wagon huh? Glad you're still here. Now put on a couple of pots of coffee and let's continue! I added another layer and named it "red". I'll be using this layer to add the pinkish/redish hues to the face. I chose a red color in the color mixer and darkened it. Then I used the slider to set the alpha and I dabbed a few samples over the face. If it's to dark or too light, adjust the alpha. Seems 8% works right for now.

After painting the red with an alpha of 8%, I thought that it was still a tad too red, so I selected all the red and cut the alpha down to 6%. Experiment and change!

Because I use Flash 8, I can ad a blur filter to the red layer but if you don't have the filters it still works fine without them. Of all caricatures I've done so far, only two have the blur filter.

I add another layer and call it "red2". I want to add a bit darker red around the lips and eyes. I could add this to the original red layer but if you get different alpha values all mixed up on one layer, you'll end up needing to change something and the whole layer will be altered. Not fun! So, to stay organized I keep these layers seperate.

I added the same red with an alpha value of 11%. I don't think I'll add the blur this time.
