San Miguel Pale Pilsen

A pale golden lager with a hint of a sweet aroma, a medium body balanced with smooth moderate bitterness and a snappy clean palate. The first San Miguel Pale Pilsen was produced in September of 1890 at Balintawak Beer Brewery (BBB).

San Miguel Pale Pilsen is produced at the following domestic breweries: Polo, San Fernando, Bacolod, Mandaue, and Davao.

It is also produced in other countries, namely:

  • China -- SM Hongkong, SM Guangzhou, SM Shunde, and SM Bada Baoding Breweries
  • Indonesia -- P.T. Delta Brewery
  • Vietnam -- Golden Dragon Brewery
  • Nepal -- Mount Everest Brewery

San Miguel Pale Pilsen has an alcohol content of 4% by weight and contains about 128 calories/320 ml.

San Miguel Pale Pilsen recently won a Gold Medal Award in the 1997 Monde Selection Beer Competition, Brussels, Belgium.
