Thesis work:
We have studied the polynomially deformed Lie algebras and their
representations. It is found that those algebras contains both finite and
infinite dimensional representations. We have obtained a way of generating
these algebras from the usual Lie algebras by a generalization of the Jordan
Schwinger formulation of Sl(2) algebra. This helps to classify a special class
of deformed algebras and with different(not all) represenations. The differential realizations of those
algebras were also found. These algebras are comming as spectrum generating
algebras in different physical systems such as anisotropic harmonic oscillator
etc. The construction of various coherent states such as annihilation operator
coherent states, group theoretical coherent states and algebraic coherent
states follows in a straight forward way.
