What They do not tell you about Myth:

Back in the days before medical science confirmed there was states before death, such as fainting, coma's and or passing out from drunken states, they often thought These indivudals were dead. They would bury them, and of course these people would waken in the grave, for they did not embalm the body (withdraw blood from body when person dies) in those days.

So the village folk naturally thought their realitives were Undead, as Blood was about their mouth's, or on their clothing. Sure if you rise in the grave trying to get out of a 6 feet hole in a narrow pinewood coffin (no vault) I am sure your going to have some visual injuries too!

Superstition In Those days ran rampant, obvious from the fear about Undead, vampires, Witches, faeries and the like. Woven by tales of folklore passed down through the ages, which origanally condemned Faeries or Sidhe (shee) as being imps of Satan. (Influenced by The Christian Church stomping out Paganism in early Ireland/Scotland..in an effort to thawart the pagan religion)

Faeries were once dealt with by burning. If said Baby was thought to hold a faerie spirit, then it was encouraged to burn the child or drown it, in which the Faerie would then perish. But of Course The child did as well!
The same was later passed on witches, who were said To be in league with Faeries and Then Vampyres as well! The Church saw all Pagan Art's as taboo. And Folklore of witches and Vampyres was just that, taboo.

It is in fact--fact that Vampyres devolped from witchcraft as I shall get into in the Next column, for Vampyres, Not talking about those who have a blood fetish and drink blood and Lifestyle Vampyrism, or Psychic and Pranic Vampyres who feed on lifeforce and prana energy of the soul have the same abilities as most shamans and or witch's. Psychic vampyres are not evil, but also can use energy to heal others, and or themselves.

Which leads me To Psychic/Pranic Vampyrism:

A Psychic Vampyre, is a person with inborn natural/Latent abilities (no turning or embrace or dark kiss here!) That come about and float too the surface at the age of adolesence and puberty.
He or she may experience a near death experience or other tragic event right before this event takes place.

Psychic Vampyres, are not really "vampyres" the only reason we are called "vampyres" is too refer how we "drain" energy which we do by tapping into a person's lifeforce or other energy force by "sinking into their aura and siphoning energy out in a Draining Manner" which is like a movie vampyre drawing blood.

however, psychic's may take from the bloodstream by Drinking Blood, but most prefer to take from the aura. It's easy, no mess, no questions asked about cuts or bites.

There has been much speculation as to why a PsyVamp drains energy and how she does it. A Psychic Vampyre Drains energy because He/She is not quite Alive. The term Undead almost applies except, we did not "die" nor come back from the dead, except through Reincarnation Only. A psychic Vampyre drains energy to keep her Immune and Nervous systems healthy and balanced, as well as keep her physical body in peak Condition. It has been said, psyvamps are no different than regular people, as everyone draws in energy. Yes This is true but it is not.

Regular people/animals/plants draw in energy which is all about us, the energy flows in them, and threw them and back out as they interact with it in their everyday lives. A psychic Vampyre encounter's energy and her Body PULLS or SUCKS the energy she encounter's within and holds it there, and her own energy mixes with it, and absorbs it into her body, mind and astral soul, which is the cause of the energy Imbalance and why a Psychic Vampyre is not quite alive.

Psychic Vamps are often old souls, meaning they are reincarnated and or follow a magickal path that teaches this, and have followed it before. We all have astral souls, a non incorpeal body aka "ghost-like", but mainly only occult people are aware of what that body can do. This body astrally projects in dreams and during hypnotic states and is eternal, incidently.

If you believe in reincarnation you know this is when your astral body reincarnates in a new physical body after death to which you go threw life learning lessons in life and karma until you no longer have to reincarnate, or choose not too any longer. Well the astral soul builds up memories in each lifetime and it becomes a Blueprint in the mind of astral DNA that gets triggered later on in the physical lifetime.
Well when the soul is made vampyric, most oftenly done when the physical body gets ahold of another awakened vampyre's blood. Vampyric blood is different and is a Virus in itself. This blood virus infects and changes everything from the body to the mind to the astral soul.

When a body is made vampyric in this manner it is permanant as all blood magick is. (aka Runes, blood oath's..etc.) It stays with the astral soul in physical death and in the new life that astral soul chooses to be born into. So one draws energy not only in life but in death as well, to maintain and upkeep their astral bodies, which is sustained only of energy from about them on the astral and physical planes.
