Eton International School will be having a Thanksgiving program entitled “Green Christmas for a Cause”. This event will be held on December 16, 2011, 3:00 – 6:00 pm at ETON Campus. Our theme is Thanksgiving Special: A Billion Acts of Green. The celebration aims to instill in the minds of the new generation the importance of preserving and conserving Philippine’s ecology and natural resources. We prepared a fantastic musical and dance production showcasing the talents of ETON students. In addition, we have a Kiddie Bazaar in which students created their own products using recycled materials .The proceeds will be donated to GMA-7 Kapuso Foundation.
More about Eton International School: Eton International School, the School of the FutureEton International School provides a school where learning is more continuous, more relevant and more adaptive. Classrooms are outfitted with the latest in interactive technology but the school climate is homey--with diverse community members building congenial relationships. Our goal is to create a school without borders that allows our children to explore, think, overcome and network with children in different parts of the world. We broaden students' horizons by stimulating their minds, confronting their physical challenges and developing their circle of core competencies at a very young age. We strive to help them open the doors of learning, rather than creating learning barriers.
MORE ABOUT GMA KAPUSO FOUNDATION: We uplift the life of the underprivileged Kapusong-Filipino all over the Philippines by:
We value our relationships with our local, national and international partners, and recognize the impact that they have on our capability to provide help to those who need it most. We are committed in ensuring sustainable operations to enable us to continue being a "strong bridge" for our donors and beneficiaries by actively promoting the Foundation's initiatives to solicit sufficient funding. In so doing, we effectively bridge the distances that come between those that need help and those extending a helping hand. As such, we recognize the power of media and its role in eliciting a sense of compassion from our donors, and promoting volunteerism among Filipinos, and we shall continue to use it responsibly as a means to achieve our organizational goals.
