♥ MUSIC FICTION >>> TAKE A CHANCE: WHEN I'M WITH YOU >>> CHAPTER 008
*Benji*
"Wow... it's so quiet," I smiled as Mike and I went into the hotel room his band would be staying out. "Yeah, it's only quiet while they're gone," Mike chuckled, "When they're here, it's a while 'nother story."
"Same with our room," I nodded, "So... what shall we do?"
"Wanna go to my room?" Mike asked, "So if they come back, they'll think we're still out and leave us alone."
"Sounds good," I nodded, my stomach doing flipflops at the thought of being in a bedroom alone with Mike.
He led me down the hallway and into his room, letting me in and closing the door behind us. I watched as he locked it also. I guess there's nothing unusual about that...
I sat down on the bed, watching him as he grabbed the TV remote and sat down beside me, flicking the TV on. "Any preference on what to watch?" he asked me, flicking slowly through the channels.
"Anything is good," I shrugged, unable to keep my mind off him. I kicked my shoes off and scooted back on the bed until my back was resting against the headboard. Mike followed suit and settled down beside me. I bit my bottom lip and cautiously slid my arm around his waist, smiling inwardly as he let out a small sigh and scooted closer into my embrace, resting his head on my right shoulder.
He looked up at me briefly, smiling. I returned his smile, leaning down slowly, before capturing his mouth with mine. It wasn't a major kiss, just touching of lips. I took the initiative and moved my mouth against his slightly, and he got the idea and followed. It was our second real kiss, and it seemed just as mind blowing as the first.
Mike ran his tongue along my bottom lip, and something about feeling it glide over my piercings made me shiver. I felt him grin around our kiss before doing it again, this time sucking my lipring into his mouth and teasing it gently with his tongue, sending my emotions wild.
I leaned back a bit, pulling him down so we were laying with me on my back, and the upper half of Mike's body ontop of mine. He broke our kiss for air and then attached his lips onto my neck, placing gentle, open-mouthed kisses over my skin. I sighed and ran my hands down his back, trailing them back up, taking his shirt with them. He sat up long enough for me to pull his black 'Drunken Munkey' shirt off and toss it onto the bed beside us.
I let my eyes roam over his bare torso, taking in his lightly tanned skin and muscles. I knew I was nowhere near as perfect as he was. Mike smiled at me and said, "Take your shirt off too."
I blushed slightly, but crossed my arms ober my chest and stomach, grasping the hem of my shirt and pulling it over my head, dropping it alongside with his own discarded shirt. He smiled, letting me lay back down as his fingers traced over the tattoos on my chest.
"Whose Sarah?" he asked, tracing the name with his fingertip. "My sister," I told him, before he got the wrong idea and thought I was cheating on a girlfriend or something with him, "I have a tattoo of each of my siblings."
Mike smiled and nodded, leaning down and kissing me again, lying his body flat ontop of mine, our bodies seemingly molding perfectly into each other's. His skin was warm under my own, and shone in a light sheen of sweat from the excitement.
After a few more moments of gentle kisses, Mike slide his body off mine and beside me, pulling the blanket over us as I shivered from the loss of body contact. Mike smiled up at me and pulled me close to him, setting down beside me with his arm over my waist. I smiled and kissed him gently.
"Goodnight Mikey."

I awoke the next morning with a start, momentarily forgetting where I was. I felt a pressure on my chest and looked down sleepily, seeing a very familiar looking tattooed arm over my chest. I followed the arm with my eyes back to the owner, smiling as Benji was sleeping peacefully beside me.
I glanced at the clock on the bedside table; it read 11 AM. I leaned over and kissed Benji's lips softly, smiling as his eyelids fluttered in his sleep. "Mike?" he asked sleepily, pulling me closer to him. I smiled and hugged him. "It's time to wake up," I whispered, "It's already eleven."
"I don't wanna," he whined, burrying his face into the pillow. "But you have to," I smiled, "Your band will wonder what happened to you."
"No they won't," he replied, his voice muffled by the pillow, "Joel knows where I am."
"Even so, I need to shower. Don't you think I smell?" I giggled.
"Not at all," Benji smiled as he lifted his head slowly off the pillow, "But you're right. Joel was talking about wanting to hit Asbury Park today."
"Asbury Park?" I asked, "Isn't that place abandoned?"
"Yeah," Benji rolled his eyes, "THAT'S why he wants to go. He's on this kick of believing in ghosts from something he read online and he heard it's haunted. And now he wants to check it out."
"That sounds fun," I smiled, "You'll have to tell me about it when you get back."
"You could always come with us," Benji suggested, "Joel said he wanted to meet you anyways... he claims that I'm so secretive about our relationship."
"Okay then," I smiled, "I'll go. Should I meet you guys in the lobby?"
"Yeah... how about around twelve?" Benji suggested, sitting up and kicking the covers off. "Twelve is good," I replied, standing up and stretching, just realizing that we'd both fallen asleep with our jeans on.
Benji picked his shirt up off the floor, skaing it out slightly before sliding it back over his head and rubbing his eyes in an attempt to wake up. "Okay, so I'll see you then. I can let myself out, so you, my smelly friend, can shower."
"Gee thanks," I laughed, "I really feel loved now."
"You should," Benji grinned before heading out the door. I shook my head and smiled before grabbing the clothes I planned to wear that day and going into the bathroom. I dumped my clothes on the countertop and turned the water on, starting the shower up. After a few moments of letting the water warm up, I climbed in, my thoughts once again wandering to Benji.
I hurried in the shower, eager to see him again. Once I dried off and changed into my clothes, I left the bedroom, going to the kitchen to look for some food. "There's Mikey!" Chester grinned as he spotted me, "Where were you all last night?"
"With Benji, in my room," I replied.
"In your room right down the hall? How come we didn't know?" Chester wondered.
"'Cause we were quiet and sleeping," I grinned, "Unlike some people who stay out all night clubbing."
"Heeey, it was fun watching Joe try to get a girl," Chester laughed, "So Mikey, doing anything today?"
"Benji invited me to join him and Joel on a trip to Asbury Park," I informed him, laughing as his eyes lit up.
"Asbury Park? Dude, I'm so going with you!" Chester exclaimed.
"Why so eager?" I laughed.
"It's supposed to be haunted," Chester grinned, his eyes twinking with mischief, "I so wanna go see if all those stories I've heard are true."
"Alright then," I agreed, "We have to meet them in the lobby around twelve."

"So, I'm finally gonna get to meet Mike?" Joel asked me as we waited in the lobby for him.
"Yes, Joel, you will get to meet him," I sighed in exasperation, as that was the third time since I'd gotten back to the room that he'd asked me that question.
"Aww... you know I love you Benj," he grinned, "I wanna make sure my brother has a nice boyfriend."
"Keep it down!" I hissed, "We don't know who could be around to hear."
"Sorry," Joel appologized, "Is he here yet?"
"Uummm..." I trailed off, looking around the lobby again, smiling as I spotted him and Chester coming off the elevator, "There he is."
I walked over to them and smiled, "Long time no see."
"Yeah man," Mike laughed, "I haven't seen you in AGES."
"So Mike, wanna introduce me to your friend?" Chester asked.
"Oh yeah," Mike blushed sheepishly, "Benji, this is Chester, Chester, this is Benji and..."
"Joel," Joel supplied, shaking Chester's hand, then Mike's, "It so nice to finally meet you... you're all Benji talks about anymore."
"Yeah, same with Mike," Chester laughed as both Mike and I blushed madly, "Aww we made them blush and get all embarrassed!"
"Shuttup Chaz," Mike laughed, in an attempt to make light of the situation, "We have to get going to Asbury Park, remember?"
"Oh yeah!" Chester grinned, "I wanna see some ghosts!"
"Me too!" Joel grinned, "I heard it's really haunted."
"I hope it is," Chester grinned, getting into a conversation all about ghosts with Joel. "Well, we lost them to the world of the paranormal," Mike laughed as we made our way out to the van, "Whose driving?"
"Me!" Joel grinned, grabbing the keys from Mike.
"Make sure you have seatbelts on," I laughed, "Joel can't drive."
"Shut up Benj," Joel grinned, "I drive better than YOU."
"You wish," I smirked as we climbed into the van, "Do you even know how to get there?"
"Sure I do," Joel nodded.

I looked up at the building that once held many family activities, which was now mostly cracking and pealing green paint and creepy looking smiling dudes on it. The signs were wither broken or falling off, but I could make out one on the side that said 'Palace' inbetween two of those creepy looking smiling dudes.
I started having second thoughts about going inside. I mean, it was abandoned for a reason, that reason most-likely being that it wasn't a safe place to be. I reluctantly followed behind the others, not really wanting to go through with this.
"How do we get in?" Chester asked, looking up at the building.
"This way," Joel said, motioning for us to follow him. He led us to a glass door that had the glass knocked out of it. I watched as he slipped inside, Chester following. Benji walked over to the door, but I stayed behind.
"Coming?" he smiled at me and I shook my head. "I'm getting bad feelings from this place," I told him honestly, "And what if we get caught? We'd be charged with tresspassing on the spot."
"Don't worry so much," Benji smiled, taking my hand, "No one will know."
I sighed and gave in, allowing him to pull me into the place. It was really cold inside, and the walls were covered with grafiti and cobwebs. I looked around, trying to imagine this place as being happy with families coming in to play the games.
From the room we were in, it led off into various different ones. There was one for the Bumper Cars Area, Casino, and a skating rink. Outside we'd seen a liquor store, apartments and something called the Stone Pony. In general, it was a creepy place. And of course Chester was taking pictures.
"Wow," Benji muttered, looking around, "It's hard to imagine that this place was a family fun place before."
I nodded, holding onto his hand tightly and not daring to let go. He led me into the Bumper Car Area, which looked as though the ceiling had caved in and the cars were lined against a wall, some completely smashed and other perfectly fine.
"Can we go now?" I whispered, "I'm really getting freaked out and bad vibes from this place."
"Sure," Benji nodded, "Let's go find Chester and Joel."
"Chester? Joel?" I called out, looking around for them. "Yeah?" Joel called back, "We're in the casino."
"C'mon, we're leaving," Benji said, "We're getting creeped out."
"Alright," Joel called back, before he appeared with Chester, both of them dusting themselves off, "I didn't realize how dusty it was," Chester laughed, his laugh cut short as we heard a loud bang suddenly, like something was falling.
"Uh... we should leave now," Benji squeaked, taking my hand and pulling me towards the exit.
"Hey... what're you fellas doing in here?" a deep voice asked.
"Run for it!" Joel exclaimed, running for the exit, and not stopping until he reached the car, where he yelled for us to hurry up. The three of us ran to the car and practically dived in before Joel pulled off.
We all exchanged glances before laughing histerically. "Oh man," Chester laughed, "We didn't even stop to see who that was."
"Probably security people whose job it is to keep tresspassers like us out," Benji giggled, "Man, I don't think I've ever been so scared before."
"Me either," I sighed, still trembling as I scooted closer to Benji, smiling as he slid his arm around my waist and held me close.
