"I can't believe how damn big Demon got," Joel laughed as Demon walked him more-so than Joel walking Demon.

"I know," I chuckled, "I think he's only gonna get bigger." Demon was already half the size of a full grown dog. And the vet said he'd get even bigger. Cash on the other hand was no problem. He was smaller than Demon now.

"So, how's Mike survivng his bed rest sentence?" Joel asked, finally getting a hold of Demon.

"Pretty well," I nodded, "I mean it's not like he has to spend every second in bed. He IS allowed to get up and walk around and all."

Joel nodded, walking towards the park. We walked around for a while more, until the cold weather got to be a bit too much, before starting back home.

"Honey I'm home!" Joel called out, taking Demon's leash off and letting him go. I did the same for Cash and laughed as Joel was attached by a hurricane of arms and lips that were Chester's.

I shook my head as they started making out and went upstairs to see Mike. Demon was already on the bed with him, curled up at the foot end.

"Hey baby," I smiled, crawling in beside him and kissing him softly, "How're you feeling?"

"Good," Mike smiled, "Just watching some ATR reruns on MTV."

"Oh really," I smiled, feeling myself blushing, "There's nothing else on?"

"And miss you and Joel? Not a chance," Mike grinned, his hand rubbing his bare stomach softly.

I smiled and ran my hand over his stomach with his, leaning down and placing a kiss on his bulging belly. "Excited?" I smiled, "The doctor said they could come at any day now."

"Uh huh," Mike nodded, "More than excited."

I woke up later that night, to a massive amount of pain in my stomach. It didn't feel just like a stomach ache... it felt worse than that. I winced as I felt another hit of pain and realized that it was time. As in, TIME.

I reached over and shook Benji awake. "Ugh... Mike? You okay?" Benji asked, sitting up and rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

I took a deep breath as the pain subsided for a moment and said, "It's time."

Benji eyes widened. "TIME?! As in, THE time?!"

I nodded, watching as Benji jumped up and threw some clothes on before helping me up and down to the car. I winced and grabbed my stomach as another stab of pain hit me. Benji started the car and pulled out of the driveway.

"It's alright," he whispered, glancing at me and taking my hand in his, "The hospital's not far. Think you can make it?"

I nodded, trying not to think of the pain, hoping it would lessen a bit if I didn't. "Benj... my water just broke.."

"Ugh, Demon or Cash, whichever one you are, go away," I grumbled, pulling the blanket over my head as one of the dogs barked their heads off at the side of the bed. I shivered as the blanket was suddenly pulled off.

"Joel, I think something's up," Chester said, rubbing his eyes, "They never act like that."

I nodded and got up. "Alright dogs. What is your problem?"

Cash barked again and ran from the room, Demon following him. Chester and I followed them into Benji and Mike's room, only they weren't there.

"Wait... you don't think..." Chester trailed off his eyes wide, "Do you think Mike... he..."

"...Holy crap," I gasped, "Wait, lemme call Benji's cell. They could've just gone out for one of Mike's cravings or something too."

I picked up the phone and dialed Benji's cell, listening to it ring and waiting for him to pick up.

"Hello?!"

"Benj! Where are you guys?" I asked him, noticing all the comotion in the background.

"At the hospital," he replied, "Mike's gone into labour. They're getting him ready now. I'm just waiting for them to let me in."

"Alright. Want us to come?" I asked, motioning for Chester to get dressed. He caught on and nodded, grabbing some clothes and tossing me pants and a shirt.

"Yeah," Benji replied, "Shit, I gotta go. I'll catch you later on."

The line went dead and I figured he'd gone to be with Mike. "Mike's gone into labour?" Chester guessed as we threw on our coats and ran to his car.

"Yeah," I nodded, catching the keys as he tossed them to me and jumped into the car."

I seriously thought my hand was gonna loose circulation as Mike squeezed it tightly with each push. He cried out again in pain as the doctor encouraged him.

"C'mon Mike, you're doing good," Dr. Banner told him, "Just one more."

"You said that three pushes ago!" Mike cried as the nurse wiped his forehead off with a washrag.

"Please?" the doctor smiled, "One more and I promise it's it until the next baby."

With a loud groan of exertion, Mike gave another push and the room was filled with the sound of our baby crying. I felt tears in my eyes. I never understood the whole concept of how emotional a birth could be. "It's a girl!" the doctor smiled, handing her to the nurses to clean her up, "Now Mike, when you feel the start of contractions again, start pushing for me."

Mike nodded and almost immedietely cried out in pain. "Alright, this one should be easier," Dr. Banner told him, "Push for me."

A few pushes later the second baby was out and both Mike and I were crying. "It's a boy!" Dr. Banner smiled, "Younger than his sister by three minutes."

I smiled around my tears as the nurses handed them both to Mike, the boy wrapped up in a blue blanket and the girl wrapped in pink. "Benji," Mike whispered in awe, "They're so perfect."
