♥ MUSIC FICTION >>> TAKE A CHANCE: BACK TO YOUR HEART >>> CHAPTER 007

*Benji*

"Beeeenjiiiieeeee wake up!"

I was awaken the next morning by Mike, who was straddling my hips, his fingers tracing patterns over the tattoos on my chest.

"Morning," I grumbled, forcing myself awake. Mike smiled at me, leaning down and kissing me softly.

"Morning Benji," he smiled, "We're going out to pick out a Christmas Tree. Wanna come?"

"Sure," I replied, rubbing the sleep from my eyes, "Give me... a half hour."

Mike nodded, kissing me again softly before climbing off me and letting me get up. "Chester and Joel made breakfast. Pancakes. I dunno how good they are... or how bad," Mike giggled, watching me as I stood up and pulled some clothes on.

I chuckled. "I'm SO gonna tell them that," I smirked as Mike's face dropped.

"No way!" Mike protested, jumping up and wrapping me tightly in his arms, "I won't let you do it!"

I giggled. "Too bad," I smiled sweetly, "Unleeeeessssssss..."

"Unless what?" Mike asked warily.

"Unless you let me give you a massage tonight. Since we haven't really done anything like that in... a while," I compromised.

A smile spread on Mike's lips and he hugged me. "Benji... you're too sweet sometimes," he smiled, "But come on. Let's go see how Chester and Joel's cooking skills are."

*Chester*

"Damn... we make some good pancakes," I grinned as I took a bite of the pancakes Joel and I made. It wasn't too hard... considering all we had to do was follow the directions that were on the box.

"Mmm... not bad at all," Benji nodded, "I'm impressed."

"I thought so," Joel smiled, "See? We can cook afterall."

"I'll say," Mike nodded, "So, you two wanna cook us all some dinner tonight?"

"Uh.. we'll see," I paused, "Depending on how.."

"Tired we are!" Joel jumped in for me, "You know, from decorating the tree. Once we actually get it."

"Uh huh, good excuse," Mike chuckled, putting his dishes in the sink, "Well, can we go find a tree now?"

Once we actually got outside, it had started to snow slightly. Joel came up beside me and took my gloved hand in his. "Hey," he smiled, "What's on your mind? You seem really deep in thought."

"Nothing important," I replied, "There's the place."

We came up to a tented in place which had tons of trees inside. "Wow," Benji breathed, "It's so... many trees. Cash would have a feild day in here."

I laughed as I pictured Cash running around and marking each tree. "Well, which one do we like?" I asked, "Make it a big one."

"A big one?" Mike asked, "That's more work for us to do."

"Oh well," I grinned, "We can handle it."

*Joel*

"Chester," I groaned, gripping onto the string that was attached to the sled, "Never again, are we listening to you and picking the biggest tree."

"Why not?" he grinned, pulling the tree, which was on the sled, by another one of the ropes, "It won't be so bad."

"Are you sure I can't help?" Mike asked, walking alongside Benji, but Benji had told him not to help. Because he was afraid it would harm Mike or the baby.

"No," Benji said, "We're doing fine. See, there's the house now."

Once we finally got the tree inside the house and into the living room, the three of us collapsed onto the sofa while Mike admired the tree. "Let's decorate it now!" he grinned.

"Noooo," I groaned, "Too.... tired."

"Aww fine," Mike pouted, sitting on the armchair, "I guess it can wait 'til later."

*Mike*

"How do I look?" Benji grinned, once Joel finished wrapping the gold garland around Benji's body, so now he looked like a deformed gold mummy.

"Like a weirdo," I laughed as Joel admired his work, "That's supposed to go on the tree, not you."

"Oh well," Benji grinned, "We always put it on last. We're not even done with the ornaments yet. And we still have... five more boxes to go."

I hung up a tiny little angel towards the top of the tree, while someone put on a Christmas CD. "Success!" Chester grinned as he got the star fastened to the top of the tree.

"Nicely done," I smiled, taking a string of lights from Joel and walking to the back of the tree, passing them behind it and to him again, until we gave them to Chester. Since he was standing on the ladder, he could reach the very top of the tree.

"Well," Benji commented once we finished, "I say it looks perfect."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Very perfect," I agreed as we stood and admired our work, while 'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree' played from the CD player.

I sat behind Mike on the bed in his room, my hands rubbing his shoulder and neck, loosening his tense muscles. "Your hair's getting long," I noted, noticing how it looked longer in the back. I couldn't really tell from the front, since he'd usually wear it spiked.

"Yeah, I know," Mike sighed as I kissed the back of his neck gently, "I'm too lazy to get it cut."

"Then let it grow, and I cane give you Liberty Spikes!" I grinned.

"No thanks," Mike chuckled, "I don't think that's really me."

"Oh well," I smiled, moving lower on his back and lossening his muscles, "I think it would look hot."

"That cause you had your hair like that before," Mike smiled knowingly at me, "And damn, you're good at massages."

"Thanks," I smiled, before yawning, "I think I need sleep. Wanna call it a night?"

Mike nodded, scooting back on the bed and pulling the covers down so we could crawl under, before pulling them back over us. "Night," he smiled, curling against me. "Night," I whispered back, falling asleep to the sounds of 'Silent Night' floating up to us from downstairs.
