♥ MUSIC FICTION >>> AGAINST ALL ODDS >>> CHAPTER 032

*Diana*

"Officially seven months tomarrow," I smiled at Scott as we lay together on his bed. "Yep," he smiled, "Are you excited?"

"Of course," I smiled, "Not excited about the heaps of pain to come, but excited about Angel coming in two months." Scott grinned and kissed me softly. "And just think of all the kinky fun we'll get to have after Angel's born," Scott grinned. I laughed. "You horny bastard," I grinned, "But I can't say I don't miss that."

"Good," Scott smiled, "Cause after Angel's born and you're feeling like your old self again, that's the first thing on my list."

"Oh is it," I laughed, "What if we end up having another child accidently?"

"Well..." Scott trailed off in thought, "We'll get you on the pill then." I snorted and covered my mouth with my hand. "Gosh Scotty, could you sound anymore desperate for sex?" I laughed. He grinned and shrugged. "Eh, my right hand doesn't cut it anymore," he giggled.

"Uh huh," I grinned, smiling as his hand stroked my hair softly, "You'll just have to manage for a few more months then."

"Guess so," Scott smiled, "And, how about we order out some Chinese food for dinner? I think the 76ers are playing today."

"Sweet!" I grinned, "It's just too bad they had to trade Harpring to the Jazz this season."

"Oh well," Scott grinned, "We'll still root for the Sixers anywho."

*Attie*

"How was dinner with Nycto and the Cunningham boys?" Dad asked as I walked back into the house. "Fine," I said simply, hurrying to my room to get changed out of those ridiculous clothes. Wearing a suit isn't something I prefer to do, wether or not it was made for a girl specifically.

I changed into a comfy pair of flared sweats and a white tanktop, along with my equally as comfy Adidas three-stripes. I went back downstairs and said, "I'm going over to my friends' house," before bolting outside before they could object.

Wow... that worked easier than I thought. Guess Di's advise about hurrying out before your parents can say no really does work. I grinned as I hurried over to the Moffatt's house, eager to hang out with my own friends again.

I rang the doorbell and smiled as Dave answered. "Hey Attie," he smiled slightly, stepping aside so I could enter, "Scott's ordering Chinese for dinner, so you'd better get your order in."

"Thank god," I grinned, having not eaten much more than a salad at dinner with the Cunninghams', "I'm starved. Scott! Wait for me to get something!" Dave chuckled as he closed the door amd followed me into the kitchen as I told Scott what I wanted to order.

"Hungry much Lannie?" Diana laughed as I sat with her on the sofa. "Totally," I grinned, "I have a major munchies case today. And, where's those ultrasound pictures you promised me?"

"Right here," Diana smiled and picked up a pile of photos from the coffee table, handing them to me. "Aww," I smiled, "Seven months tomarrow, right?"

"Yep," Diana smiled as Scott sat down beside her and rubbed her stomach gently. "Excited?" I smiled, happy for them. "Totally," Scott grinned, "We'll get you to babysit."

"Why me?" I laughed. "Well, would you trust Angel to those three dopes?" Scott laughed and pointed to the triplets who were fighting over the tv remote. "Good point," I laughed. "Uh uh," Diana said, taking the remote from them, "Scott said we get to watch the Sixers game tonight."

I sighed as I forced my dinner down my throat. I wasn't really hungry, not much anyways. I was too worried about losing my friendship and chance of being with Clint. I knew for sure now that he saw how fat I was. He'd never be with me until I was skinnier.

After I finished, I rushed to the bathroom to get rid of what I ate. It always made me feel like I was ten times bigger after eating, and I needed to get that feeling away. Maybe I should call Clint and try talking to him.

I knew it would make me feel better, but I couldn't make myself do it. I sighed and layed down on my bed, next to my open window and gazed at the night sky, lost in my thoughts.

*Nycto*

"Ugh, finally," I muttered to myself as I changed into my own comfy clothes again. I thought that 'date' with Oliver and Bradley would never end. I sighed and plopped myself down in front of my computer, waiting patiently for it to boot up.

I logged onto my e-mail and smiled as I saw an e-mail from Attie. Even though we hung out lots, it was still fun to e-mail each other pictures and things. I flicked on my radio and searched for something to listen to.

I grinned as Good Charlotte's new song played from the speakers. Wasn't it Di who said that Punk Rock was fun cause your parents can't stand it? That was too true. My parents truly dispised of any kind of music like this and mainly likes Classical stuff.

I grinned as I read through Attie's e-mail, saying how Bradley seems like a somewhat nice guy, even if him and Oliver were what Di and her would most-likely call the 'Prep-Patrol'. I typed an e-mail back to her and logged onto ICQ to see if any buddies were online to chat with.
