♥ MUSIC FICTION >>> AGAINST ALL ODDS >>> CHAPTER 031
"What would you like to order?" The lanky waiter smiled politely at us.
"Ah..." I looked at Atlantica, who immediately read off her choice. the guys ordered what they wanted and I frantically tried to decide. I was never very good with menu's... and it didn't help that I felt all weird being in girly clothes and in some ridiculously expensive restaurant.
"What do you want?" Oliver turned to me.
"I'm not sure," I muttered uncomfortably.
"Do you like lobster?"
"I've never really tried it..."
"Make that two lobsters," he flicked his hand at the waiter.
"Okay," I glanced at Attie with raised eyebrows. She just shrugged and forced a cheery expression.

"Sweetie, are you alright?" I tapped gently on my daughter's bedroom door.
There was a muffled reply and pushed the door open softly. A puffy-eyed, yet pretty face lifted to see me.
"Christy!" I gasped. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" I picked her up in my arms and hugged her tightly. she didn't reply, but sobbed boftly into my bosom. My hand brushed down her long dark hair as I let her get her sorrow out.
"Tell me what's wrong?" I kissed the top of her head.
"Clint," she whispered, sniffling and hugging her doona around her.
"Aw honey, everything will be fine. Did you two have a fight?" I cuddled her.
"Kinda..." she accepted a tissue I offered her and blew her nose.
"That boy loves you, Christy."
"Mom!" She rolled her eyes at me and shook her head.
"I've been around longer than you and I know these things. You don't need to worry, he cares about you more than you know." i assured her with a little squeeze.
"now come and have something to eat," I told her, noticing how bony she felt in my arms.
"I'm not real hungry..."She muttered.
"Christy, you are eating dinner and that's final." I grinned at her. "Surest cure for a broken heart."
