♥ MUSIC FICTION >>> AGAINST ALL ODDS >>> CHAPTER 027

*Diana*

I grinned at Scott as we walked into the movie theater. "What movie are we going to see?" Nycto asked, looking up at the lists of the movies that were playing, "Lots of them seem sold out."

"How about... The Master Of Disguise?" Bob asked with a grin, "It's supposed to be really funny."

"It would be even funnier if Adam Sandler or Jim Carey was in it," I grinned, "They rock." Clint nodded. "She has a point there Bob," he grinned, "They are very funny y'know." Bob threw his hands up in the air in exasperation.

"Ok fine!" he laughed, "What do you propse we see then?" Clint rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he looked over the choices. "Mr. Deeds!" I exclaimed suddenly with a grin, "Adam Sandler's in it!"

"Then we have to see it!" I agreed, "He's the best." Clint grinned and nodded. "Diana is officially my new best friend," he laughed, "Can we go see it Bobby?"

"Oh yes, pleeease Bobby," Dave laughed, getting onto his knees and holding his folded hands out infront of him as though he was begging. Bob laughed. "Get your ass up," he grinned, "I don't care if you wanna see it. Let's go see it."

"Oh thank you!" Dave exclaimed, throwing his arms around Bob and hugging him tightly. "Oookay, Attie did you give Dave some of your Fanta?" Nycto asked and laughed as Dave ran happily up to the window to buy his and Lannie's tickets.

"Who, me?" Lannie asked innocently. "Yes you!" Nycto and I said at the same time, then laughed and slapped high-fives. Lannie pouted. "Ok, maybe I did," she said slowly, "But I didn't want to! Honest. He stole it off me and drank it."

"Suuure," Nycto nodded and got in line with Bob abd Clint to get their tickets. "Okay, I dunno what that was about," Scott laughed and took my hand in his as we got in line behind Nycto, Bob and Clint.

"Me either," I grinned, lacing my fingers with his, "And don't forget, we have a doctor's appointment tomarrow for another ultrasound." Scott nodded. "One every month," he smiled, "Do you even need one on the ninth month?"

"I honestly don't know," I replied, "We'll have to find out tomarrow."

*Attie*

"Why thank you Mr. Hyper Moffatt," I grinned as Dave insisted he buy my ticket for me.

"Anytime," he grinned, "It's your fault I'm hyper. You shouldn't have let me drink that Fanta."

"Hey!" I laughed, "You stole it off me, and I don't think someone as puny as me would be a match for someone like you."

Dave grinned and flexed his arm muscles playfully as we walked over to the concession stands to get some soda and popcorn. "I want more Fanta," Dave grinned. "Oh no!" I exclaimed, "No more sugar for you. You're getting popcorn and water."

"Am not," Dave pouted, "You're mean."

"I know," I smiled, "I try my best."

"Ok fine, no more Fanta, but I want Pepsi then," Dave said, "And I insist that I pay for you." I laughed softly. "Are you always that nice, or is it from the hyperness?" I asked teasingly. He grinned at me. "I'm only nice to those people whom I like a lot," he grinned and turned to the guy behind the stand to get our popcorn and sodas.

Woah... he's only nice to people he likes a lot? I grinned at that thought, of the thought of Dave liking me a lot. I knew my parents would sh.it a brick if they found out, but I liked him too. He wasn't so... agressive as his style made him out to look.

*Bob*

"Help yourself," I laughed as Nycto snatched some of my popcorn from me. "Don't mind if I do," she laughed and grabbed some more, tossing it into her mouth. We walked into the theater that the movie was playing in and sat down towards the back rows.

Diana and Scott settled themselves into a dark corner. I snorted and nudge Clint, motioning towards them as he sat down beside me. "No doubt that they won't see much of the movie," I laughed and Clint snorted.

"Ya, and poor Dave and Attie have to sit beside them," Clint laughed. I raised an eyebrow and nodded. "Dave seems to like Attie a lot... they seemed a tad bit more than friendly so far tonight," I commented.

Clint nodded. "I've noticed that too. Bob, do you think I should ask Christy out? I mean, I want to, but what if she says no? I like her so much, and I dont think I'd be able to stand rejection from her."

I nodded. "Clint, you and her and practically unseperable. I'm sure she'd accept if you asked her out. She must really like you if she can stand being around you so much," I joked, grinning as Clint laughed.

"Thanks Bob," he grinned, "When should I ask her?"

"When you feel the time is right," I told him, "You'll know when it's the right time."
