Weyrlingmaster C'ric calls your name. You walk to the front of the weyrling group. "Take one of these cards," C'ric says. He hold a deck of eight cards before you. You draw one and try to memorize the image on it. Hopefully your dragonet will know what to search for based on the thoughts in your mind alone. "Are you ready?" C'ric asks. You nod.
Before long you are standing blindfolded in front of the entrance to the gold caverns "Stay close to your dragon. They will be serving as your eyes in these caverns," C'ric tells you. "Once you believe you have found what you are looking for, return here with the object. Your dragon will not know what you are looking for based on the name of the object alone. Just think of how it feels, looks or possibly tastes... When you have found what you are looking for, have your dragon pick it up and return back here."
