What A Bargain

I went to the local Target on my lunch break today and found a couple Star Wars toys I've been jonesing for a while, but was too cheap to buy them at full price.  I found the Ambush at Ilum Battlepack (pictured - courtesy of Rebelscum), which includes "Snow Bunny" Padme, snow-accented R2 and 3PO, and two Separatist Chameleon Droids (one of which is partially cloaked - clear to you and me).  Originally retailing for $19.99, I picked this up for a paltry $4.98.  That's a little over a dollar per figure after tax.

The second score was the Return of the Jedi Commemorative Tin set, which includes a Biker Scout, Darth Vader, Leia, and a Rebel Commando.  For more info on this set, click here.  This was originally $24.99 (or $29.99 depending on the retailer) and was purchased for a mere $6.24.  That's more than a buck a figure, but you also get that nifty tin.

So, it was a good haul during lunch despite not being able to find the 30th Anniversary figures I'm missing (which is quite a few).  Guess you have to be at the store first thing in the morning and I like to sleep in (or in the case of this week, have to be at work before the stores open).
