♦ “In My Heart, I Just Knew”
This is from a scene in a roleplay that my friend and I were doing. Sasuke and Sakura had finally admitted that they were in love and had started dating when they were both called away on what they thought were separate, but urgent missions. Sakura's mission was by far the most dangerous she had ever been on. They were infiltrating the hidden village of Sound, in attempts to assassinate Orochimaru. By disguising their identities from everyone (including the other members of their team) by dressing as Anbu (complete with masks and in Sakura's case, a new purple hair color), the shinobi are attempting to avoid one of Orochimaru's newfound abilities (mind-reading) as any information about their teammates could lead to their death. One night, as Sakura was bathing in the river when another Anbu joined her, unaware of her presense in the river. She swam over, only to discover that the ninja was Sasuke. This scene is right after they have found each other.
