  1. Parts of to Paragraph

They are all those components that integrate a text and that somehow offers to the reader opportune information according to the level of the reading in which it is.   These distinguishing elements are:

 

*      Topic Sentence:     It is the oration that initiates all paragraph, in which indicates of summarized way the subject to treat in the text that follows to him so that this way notion is had of which it is going away to read.

Example:     The work teaches. Every day when we arrived at our works begins a new experience, this also arises not only like product of the interactions with our superior fellow workers and but of the changing nature of the external atmosphere.   Certainly, in this process we are discovering things new every day and equipment for our labor and personal performance. The Topic Sentence is:    The work teaches.

 

 

*      Supporting Details:    They constitute the body of the paragraph since it offers all the details of the exposed thing in the Topic Sentences, of structured and organized way.

Continuing with the previous example, we can extract that the Supporting Details is: Every day when we arrived at our works begins a new experience, this also arises not only like product of the interactions with our superior fellow workers and but of the changing nature of the external atmosphere.

 

 

*      Closing Sentence:     In this oration the conclusion or affirmations is specified of summarized way that can be deduced of the paragraph previously exposed.

In the developed example previously, we can find that the Closing Sentence is: Certainly, in this process we are discovering things new every day and equipment for our labor and personal performance.

 

 

Kinds of paragraphs

 

 

*      Definition Paragraph:     One talks about to when from the Topic sentences the exposed elements are taken to develop them and to explain them.

In he himself example: The education process can be divided in two types, according to the way in as it takes place: first it is defined as a formal activity in where clearly east is known intention and the one that instructs has cause knowledge and a scientific or professional learning of certain subject in special; and in the second case education takes place like part of the performance of a formal activity in which it acquires of an implicit form the new lesson, for being product of changes or interventions of those who already have experimented in the subject.

*      Classification Paragraph:     It consists of grouping each one of the elements that compose the paragraph according to their affinities to develop them separately.

In the previous example the classification can be demonstrated when it is developed I finish of education, when doing of the ways as they are possible to be developed:   The education process can be divided in two types, according to the way in as it takes place…

 

 

*      Descriptive Paragraph:    It is when within an oration adjectives are included those characterize and describe of way makes specific the subject, person or treated object.

These adjectives in the presented/displayed example are: intention, forms, in, etc.

 

 

*      Compare and contrast paragraph:      It constitutes the paragraphs in which the raised subject is developed based on its differences and similarities with other aspects.

Example:   If we compared types of lessons both explained in the previous examples, the following thing can be said:    Education as formal activity acquires with an intention and instructor defined clearly but when east is spoken from the informal point of view differs not to have the intention and instructor defined clearly.

Several years ago I was born in the Capital of Venezuela, epicenter of the economic activities of the country and pacific city of Caracas.

  • Place that desire to know:

My roots have motivated to wish to me to visit a part of my paternal family in the Province of Sicily in Italy.

  • Particular subject:

The education and the family are the main treasures that we can have.

 

(b) Paragraph with subject oration, orations of support and an oration of closing.

 

Several years ago I was born in the Capital of Venezuela, epicenter of the economic activities of the country and pacific city of Caracas. For this time, Caracas was a framed calm city in certain city-planning order, in where thanks to their investiture of capital city of the country were developed to the main economic activities of Venezuela.   But due to the nationalization of the oil industry, an effect of emigration of people with little preparation of the fields took place towards Caracas which brought like consequence a super population that maintained its character to him of economic and enterprise center as well but affection its pacific nature, since the demand than the supply of use was greater reason why they began to form the marginality belts.       The people who were in this situation and that in addition values and principles lacked product of the education and a family, let themselves take by the own vices of a city that was not prepared to adopt and to implement in the economic life to so many people.     These vices have been ending harmonious the Pacific character and of many sectors of Caracas, which has caused an inverse effect to the one of the Seventies; most of the people they have been immigrating to the interior in search of a greater quality of life.

 

3.  Exercise  #2

 

Write:

(a)  A paragraph of Definition of at least of seven orations.

 

The Province of Sicily is a region of Italy, country pertaining to the European continent.     This Province is located in the inferior part of this country and it is characterized to have the boot form.    This defined the landscape characteristic of this region, since in some localities they are can observe tracks of World War II that almost finished it, although even maintains some specific places intact that they had characterized it.     Unfortunately, this War affection as much to this region and the rest of the country that when finalizing many native ones were forced to emigrate of their earth, with which its population it was reduced and with little opportunities of overcoming.   These emigrations did not stop the impetus of overcoming and work of the Sicilianos that were dedicated to reconstruct their towns conserving always their origins and traditions.    In her is the Etna, which is a volcano that every certain time makes eruption but it does not represent danger for the same one since their towns are over where lava finishes.     Sicily had its origin with the combination of the Arab culture that was arriving to be based in and which I mix its roots with those of the Italians.    In spite of being an island, also it has mountains reason why it is possible to be found in her warm and cold climates.      One has said much that this region is characterized to concentrate if to same tourists of the country who look for a little tranquility, to enjoy the customs rooted and the climatologic variety in the seasons of vacations, reason why it becomes an attractive tourist destiny for any person who wishes to know a little but the Italian culture.

 

(b) A paragraph of Classification with seven or more orations.

 

In the Spanish Language Paragraphs of opening can be distinguished, enumeration, comparison, development, exposition and solution of a problem and cause-effect, these different types from paragraph have a function and characteristic specifies, reason why next we can mention this classification of individual way: 

*                 Paragraph of Opening; they are those that are taking to the reader to development of the text and they are possible to be divided in Paragraphs of Synthesis, Anecdote, Analogy, Phrases Interrogatives and Cite.

*                 Enumeration; they are those that are used to present/display the information of organized way and they are characterized to have a phrase that identifies the way to structure it, such as: Phrase of Count, Synthesis and Cadre. 

*                 Paragraph of Comparison; it is used to denote a difference or similarities between two facts or objects and introductory begins with a phrase to culminate in the comparison.

*                 Paragraph of Development; in these paragraphs one begins or it finalizes with a phrase that indicates the central or main idea of he himself, as far as the connected development this of direct way and through connectors with the central phrase. 

*                 Paragraph of Exposition and Solution of a Problem; in this type and paragraph an existing problem appears soon to contribute the solution of he himself.

*                 Paragraph of Cause-Effect;  these paragraphs try to expose a fact in individual soon to clarify because of these facts

 

 

(c) A paragraph of Description with seven or more orations.

 

The administrator due to the great responsibility that he has on his position, requires that he fulfills a profile for the good performance of his functions. The great responsibility that has drift in which if it commits some error in the application of control mechanisms, the coordination, or the process of planning not it adapts to the reality and necessities, would happen the eminent failure of the organization.   Of this it is deduced that within its profile it is necessary that it has a level of professional education and in addition it counts on an integral preparation in areas like humanistic, scientific and technological.    Also it must have a multidisciplinary vision of the process of the Planning, the Organization, the Direction and Control.     It is necessary that it knows well as to coordinate the human efforts with the material resources for the profit of the objectives that considers the organization in whom it is.        In its way to act it must always maintain analytical, reflective, critical, creative, orientation a mentality.   Also it is important that he is able to promote the participation and adaptation to the changes that are necessary.   Another one of its capacities is the one to know how to interpret the antecedents in the different scopes of the country and the organization whom it administers to determine and to anticipate themselves to the changes.     This professional also must be able to promote and to develop to diverse types of organization as far as his size or activity, they are public or private, of way so that it manages to optimize the results and the profit of their objectives are quantifiable or no.

 

 

(d) A paragraph of Comparison with seven or more orations.

 

Although for some it seems absurd is possible to demonstrate that an administrator has much in common with an agent chief executive is national or regional.    Some of the aspects that resemble them, are mainly the fact that both must coordinate the resources on which is counted in its scope.   For example; an administrator of a paste factory must carefully handle to the flour of wheat and the machineries.     By the other side a President handles with he himself care and responsibility the diverse resources that a country has, such as the operation of the natural resources.    Both usually are under the sight of those who place it in their positions and needs some way the consent of them to conduct a battle.    Within the performance of its functions they must apply elements of the administrative process, such as control mechanisms, an effective and agreed planning, coordination of the efforts of the different departments or institutions that compose their scope.     Also they must delegate responsibilities to other people according to the area for which they consider are enabled.     Finally, both have a position that implies a responsibility since on them it depends that the organization or the country, surpasses the different difficulties by which crosses, adapts to the changes and obtains the objectives that have considered.

 

 

(e) A paragraph of Resistance with seven or more orations.

 

Although many tend to confuse the finances with the accounting, and that in some essential aspects agree; also we can mention differences that distinguish them.     Although both handle economic resources, the accounting handles its capital of way very different from the finances and the procedures that use are different.    The accounting handles like capital the difference that exists between the assets except the liabilities and this made up of the reserves, share capital, accumulated utilities, etc.     However the Finances, define their capital like all the monetary resources, benefits and convertible actions in currency.  In the Accounting the cash flow is registered in the Financial statements at the moment which they are incurred.    By the other side, the finances, focus in the entrances and effective exits of the money in addition to their use for the profit of the objectives of the organization.   The Accounting focuses in the compilation and presentation of information, payment of taxes, etc.; on the contrary the Finances dedicate to the handling of the money and the decision making to reproduce it according to the entrance and effective debit of money.        The Accountant is responsible for the preparation and presentation of information that allow to verify the operation of the organization, whereas the Financial administrator takes care of the analysis and the planning of the cash flow to guarantee that they fulfill themselves all the obligations which he sees himself forces to acquire the organization.    Briefly unlike the accounting the finances guard so that the income in a while certain can guarantee the operation of an organization.
