Finished wiring a temperature sensor to the project hardware board.
The project hardware board now has a temperature sensor.
Temperature sensor for the Environmental Monitoring Module is functioning correctly. We also tested the sensor outside and under a heater to ensure hotter and colder temperatures also functioned correctly.
Continued working on the temperature sensor until it gave a stable voltage output (which is should have done as the temperature in the project room was stable).
Worked with interfacing Labview to the project hardware board (Labview is a Virtual Instrumentation Software Package which allows users to operate physical instruments using a personal computer).
Labview is reading in data from the real world. The software is monitoring the temperature level in the project room and displaying the voltage reading this corresponds to on the computer screen. It does this by using a PCI card in the computer.
