He studied Marine Engineering and Naval Architects bagging First Class Marine Engineers' Certificate Of Competency Combined.
He served the Shell group of Companies at senior levels world-wide before returning to Nigeria.
He rose to the position of Logistics Superintendent in charge of Marine, Land, and Aviation operations and maintenance before his retirement in 1999.
Post retirement, Engr. Nwosuagwu has been engaged as an Independent Consultant in Maritime affairs.
He has also been an active player in the Nigerian Export promotions of Oil, Gas, as well as Non Oil Exports under the Nigerian Export Supervision Scheme (NESS).
A product of the then famous Queens School Enugu, Mrs Nwosuagwu worked briefly in Shell Petroleum Development Company Of Nigeria, Warri as an Interpreter of Oil Well Bottom Hole Surveys before proceeding to the Obafemi Awolowo University where she did her First and Masters Degrees majoring in Behavioural Sciences targeting Teen-agers and families.
She worked for the Federal Ministry of Education from where she retired in 1994.
Mrs Nwosuagwu is an active supporter of her husband in their philanthropic roles.
