C.B. Ezekwe in the 2000s

Chukwuemeka Bekei Ezekwe is regarded as one of the early contributors to the history of the Internet. Yahoo hosted free websites for some years (up to 2009) of the World Wide Web, which was invented in 1991 by Tim Berners-Lee. In his Yahoo hosted website, Geocities, Ezekwe responded to the public invitation to build good websites, by creating "Free Year Planners for 18 years, as well as Igbo Market Days 2000-2050 and other helpful information relating to the past and future. 



Chukwuemeka B. Ezekwe was born on 9th March, 1950 and hails from Umuekechuo in Eluama na Mgbedeala Community, Ozunangodo(Umunwanwa), in Umuahia South LGA of Abia Stete, Nigeria. 
He attended Methodist Central School, Ozunangodo (1958-64), AHS, Ihie (1965-71). He was articled with Kano based firm of chartered accountants: Egunjobi, Sulaimon, Spicer & Peglars (1973-1978), during the article-ship he attended several courses at Yaba college of Technology and University of Lagos and passed the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1977. 
In 1978, Ezekwe joined the Halliburton subsidiary, Otis Engineering Corporation, as an accountant, at their main office in Warri. In 1980, he moved with the accounts office, to the company's head office in Lagos. He was to be transferred back to Warri in 1982 to head a new branch accounting department. 
Upon the consolidation of the Halliburton companies in 1993, Ezekwe was made the Accounts Receivable Coordinator of the group in Nigeria. During this period, he attended several computing courses. When he left Halliburton in 1999, Ezekwe got engaged with the study of programming in HTML and gravitated to the hobby of a web designer. In 2005, he was certificated with the Membership of International Webmaster Association (IWA). Ezekwe has also conducted scientific research into some finer forces of nature, one of which is published at: epicent.tripod.com. C.B. Ezekwe is the author of several books, including the published e-books: "Parallel Worlds and Future of Mankind" and “Planetary Hours, VOC Moons, Via Combusta and the Zodiac".

In1990, Ezekwe marriedFaith Chiemena Ogunna of Ife, Ezinihitte LGA of Imo State. The marriage is blessed with three children.
