Maine Coon Rescue

This page is dedicated to the urgent rehoming of Maine Coons.  The cats listed below may not be of the breeding of our club's members so please enquire about health issues with their current owners.  Please contact the current owners directly whose details are supplied rather than the club.

HAYLEY'S STORY:

Hayley is a 5 year old black silver classic tabby Maine Coon.

When she was 2 years old, Hayley was surrendered to her local shelter, cast aside as 'unwanted'. An adoption by a young family followed instantly and she spent three happy years in that home, surrounded by dogs, a growing family from baby right through to teenagers, and another cat.

Unfortunately for Hayley, she now finds herself once again in need of a home; this time due to a marriage breakdown.

While she has changed vastly from an extremely timid girl to a friendly, very affectionate young lady during her years within that family, Hayley now needs a home where she can remain forever. A home that will continue to keep her in the safe lifestyle she has always existed in: as an indoor-only puss.  She requests a committed owner who will give her the companionship and day-to-day care that all companion pets need and deserve, as well as providing her with the correct feeding, grooming, and veterinary care when required.

Through no fault of her own, this delightful furry bundle of joy has had too many changes and disappointments already in her life, so we ask that only people who are genuinely interested in the Maine Coon breed and have the commitment to spend time adjusting a rescue cat into their home happily, apply. For that special person who does take her into their life, there will be years of endless smooching, purring and love from a very grateful Hayley, and the new owner will have the immense satisfaction that only comes from opening their heart and home to a rescue animal - giving a new and happy start to a beautiful soul that has so much to offer after our modern society discarded it not once, but twice!
