(Specialized in Bioinformatics)
Institution: Department
of Advance Zoology and Biotechnology,
School of Genomics Division, Loyola College, Chennai, India.
Year:
2008
Thesis
Title: “Automation of Codon Usage Genomics and
Identification
Of
Drug Targets in Few Human Bacterial Pathogens”
Theme: This study was attempted to develop an automated and highly
interactive software for
high-throughput codon usage analysis. Furthermore,
to utilize the software for
analyzing codon usage patterns in essential genes
of few pathogens, and to evolve a novel drug
target identification
approach by coupling codon usage with subtractive genomics.
