ASUS A7V BIOS based on FastTrak66 Controler BIOS

This BIOS allows Raid levels 0, 1, and 0 + 1 with upto 4 drives

Despite the fact that this is based on the FastTrak66 BIOS, this mod IS for the Asus A7V with it's onboard Ultra100 controller. Put simply, there is no difference at all in the way the Fastrak66 and the FastTrak100 controllers are interfaced to via the BIOS, there is also no difference in the way the controllers talk to the drives. The only downside to using this bios is that ATA-100 drives will run in ATA-66 mode. The reason this hack came into existance is that alot of people, most of which only had ATA-66 drives anyway were screaming about the "LITE" version of the raid bios only allowing one two drive array. Alot of people had already modified their motherboards with the single resistor mod and this is all the hacked FastTrak66 BIOS needs to run.

This BIOS requires that a 150 Ohm resistor be connected from pin 36 of the primary ATA-100 IDE connector to ground. Ground can be found on the same IDE connector at pins 2, 19, 22, 24, 26, 30, and 40, take your pick any will do.

ASUS A7V BIOS based on FastTrak100 Controler BIOS

This BIOS allows Raid levels 0, 1, and 0 + 1 with upto 4 drives

This is a Hacked FastTrak100 bios, so of course has support for ATA-100 drives, the downside here is that if you've modded your board for the "LITE" bios you will need to add another resistor. If you are not using ATA-100 drives there will be no gain in swithing to this BIOS, of course, if you havn't modified your board yet you might as well use this mod.

This BIOS requires two resistors of 150 Ohms, one resistor be connected from pin 36 of the primary ATA-100 IDE connector to ground and the other resistor to be connected from pin 37 to ground. Ground can be found on the same IDE connector at pins 2, 19, 22, 24, 26, 30, and 40, take your pick any will do.

ASUS CUBX-E BIOS based on FastTrak100 Controler BIOS

This BIOS allows Raid levels 0, 1, and 0 + 1 with upto 4 drives

This is a Hacked FastTrak100 BIOS for the ASUS CUBX-E motherboard.

This BIOS requires two resistors of 150 Ohms, one resistor be connected from pin 36 of the primary ATA-100 IDE connector to ground and the other resistor to be connected from pin 37 to ground. Ground can be found on the same IDE connector at pins 2, 19, 22, 24, 26, 30, and 40, take your pick any will do.

MSI 694D Pro A/AR BIOS based on FastTrak100 Controler BIOS

This BIOS allows Raid levels 0, 1, and 0 + 1 with upto 4 drives

This is a Hacked FastTrak100 BIOS, the .zip file contains a couple different versions to suit the different Promise chips that came on the MSI motherboards.

This BIOS requires one or two resistors of 150 Ohms depending on the particular motherboard model.
"MSI 694D Pro A" - One resistor should be connected from pin 36 of the primary ATA-100 IDE connector to ground and another resistor to be connected from pin 37 to ground.
"MSI 694D Pro AR" - One resistor should be connected from pin 37 of the primary ATA-100 IDE connector to ground.
Ground can be found on the same IDE connector at pins 2, 19, 22, 24, 26, 30, and 40, take your pick any will do.
