positioned prominently at the ceremonial center of the dallas community college campus, this new joint use library acknowledges its integral role as the heart of both the institution and the community. the main entry lobby is both a dramatic gallery and separation between the adult and children's service sections of the library. the children's area is able to provide services during times that families use the building and provide a quiet, academic setting on the adult side. the library includes a round quiet study room, computer training room and children's story room.
