Kinosaki is a one of very famous hot spring place in Japan. Onsen (Hot spring) is a place where we believe that nice spring water heals our injury and disease too. So sometimes patient visited here and stayed long time for healing their injury and disease. spring water should relax any stiff joints. Spring water in Kinosaki was discovered in 8th century. Nowadays, we go just one night 2 days trip. If it's possible, I would love to stay here a week though.

All tourists used to take bath like Sentou (paid-bath) around this area. Now, most of Japanese style of hotels have baths inside. But still most tourists take bath at bathhouse (paid-bath). Every winter, I go to Kasumi to eat fresh crabs. Kasumi is located two more station from Kinosaki. Kinosaki, we also are able to eat fresh crab. But price is much higher than Kasumi. So we eat crab in Kasume and take Onsen (hot spring) tour in Kinosaki. We always go on bath crawl. There are 7 bathhouse (Paid-bath) in Kinosaki area. All place pull into hot spring. Also each single bath has different efficacious. It’s fun to take all bath. These all baths are owned by public. In each bath, they provide soap and shampoo. You need to have only a towel or towels. If you stay in Kinosaki, each hotel also provide you free tickets.

Bathhouse  (Some of the bath house have family tubs(private baths for use by a single family at time. Used to be free. But now you have to pay additional fare)

	Satono Yu Just beside Kinosaki station. Open: 7:00-23:00 Closed: second and forth Thursday Fare : 800yen/Adult 300yen /Child This bath is very new. There is Ice sauna bath in here which is just like freezer.
	Kouno Yu Effect: Long healthy life and getting along well for couple. Open: 7:00〜10:00 and 15:00-23:00 00 only on Sunday 7:00〜23: Closed : Same as Gosyo no Yu and Fare : 500yen /Adult 300yen /Child
	Gosyono-Yu Effect: Prevention of disaster and meeting nice partner of your life. Open: 7:00〜23:00 Closed : Fare : 500yen /Adult 300yen /Child
	Mandara Yu Effect: Good business luck and good harvest of grains. Open: 15:00〜23:00 Closed : Fare : 500yen /Adult 300yen /Child Kinosaki Onsen town was started from here.
	Ichino Yu Effect: Safety drive and passing examination. Open: 7:00〜23:00 Closed : Fare : 500yen /Adult 300yen /Child
	Yanagi Yu Effect: Pregnant and Having easy deliver Open: 15:00〜23:00 Closed : Fare : 500yen /Adult 300yen /Child
	Jizou Yu Effect: Keep good relation between in family Open: 7:00〜23:00 Closed : Fare : 500yen /Adult 300yen /Child Named after Jizo, guardian deity of children.

How to Go: From Kyoto= Take JR train. Sanin main line. Get Off Kinosaki.
