As you can see, it doesn't even attempt to render the display. Although it asks the user to "correct the error", it admits IE is incapable of displaying XHTML using Style Sheets. In other words, IE is non-compliant.
If you are using Internet Explorer, you owe it to yourself to get a compliant browser. Don't just stick with Internet Explorer by default because it was already there.
Validated as Strict HTML 4.01 — before Geocities got hold of it!
