Legislating
Morality - No Way Around It Stupid!
 |
First
I would like to point out this truth. The
anti-God crowd in Washington misconstrues our
Constitution making it say something that it does
not say. You're constantly hearing their
whimpering cry of "a wall of
separation"!! "A wall of separation
between Church and State"!
What is so ironic, you say it enough and people
will believe it and not challenge it.
Nevertheless, these words are not even in the
Constitution Of The United States!! They are
however, in the Russian Soviet Constitution!
The original Phrase came from a private letter
written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 to a group of
Baptists in response to a rumor that the new
American Government was going to establish a
national church, like the Anglican Church in
England. Jefferson explained that the Founding
Fathers wisely set up a wall of separation of
church and state to prevent such a thing.
Two days later, Jefferson attended church
services in what was then Washington D.C.'s most
public building-- The Chamber Of House Of
Representatives in the Capitol Building. Clearly,
Jefferson's meaning was not separation from
church in our laws and institutions.
You have to be pretty stupid to think that
morality can not and should not be legislated.
Everyone has a moral code whether it is for good
or for bad. Our laws are based on "moral
code"--some good, some bad. Some that are
moral and some that lack morals, or I guess I
should say, "lack 'good' morals". It
stands to reason, if you want to throw out the
"good moral legislation", then let's
throw out the "bad moral legislation"
along with it. What would you say we would have
left? Corruption? I would say that those such as
the ACLU would prefer to have "corrupted
moral legislation".
Nevertheless, the 1st Amendment to our
Constitution is absolutely clear, which states:
Bill Of Rights Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment of religion, or prohibiting the
free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom
of speech, or of the press; or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the
Government for a redress of grievances.
THERE
ARE NO WORDING SUCH AS "Separation of Church
and State" in our Constitution and there are
no hidden meanings or interpretations. If you say
that "Separation of Church and State"
is in the meaning of our 1st Amendment, then you
are a liar! The truth is not in you! Also, if you
BELIEVE those that tell you this is in the
meaning of our 1st Amendment, then you are both
"stupid" and "a liar".
Recognizing God and His laws in our lives and in
our government is not what the 1st amendment
forbids.
Psalms 33:12 "Blessed is the Nation whose
God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath
chosen for his own inheritance!"
We must retain our Christian Heritage and restore
the Religious Freedoms that the socialist ACLU
has stolen in the name of "Civil
Rights!"
Secondly, we DO (and must continue) legislate
morality. Don't you realize our entire system of
criminal law and much of our civil law is based
on our moral beliefs? From assault and battery to
murder in the first degree. If we don't
"legislate morality," we forfeit the
rule of law and ordered liberty altogether. Where
do you think we get the "rule of Law"?
We've been legislating morality since day one. It
doesn't take much common sense to know this.
Where do you suppose we get our laws? "Thou
Shalt Not Kill", "Thou Shalt Not
Steal", Thou Shalt Not Bare False Witness
Against Another"...! These Commandments are
what our laws are based upon.
It's amazing that those that placed these laws
"of the land" into our system of
justice, new exactly where these "moral
laws" came from.
You can not get away from it. Our laws were, and
are, based upon God's laws, straight from the Old
Testament. The truth is that all laws, whether
they are traffic regulations or matters of life
and death, are based on God's morality or someone
else's morality.
Thirdly, it is embarrassing that a person seeking
the highest office in the land so misapprehends
the constitutional concepts involved in
church/state relations that he thinks they
preclude the state from basing its laws on moral
principles. He, along with his liberal socialist
crowd, couldn't be more out of phase with
America's Founding Fathers and with most
Americans today.
Environmental laws are based on morality.
Kerry's treasured plans for prescription drug
plans are based on morality.
Kerry's ideas about economics are based on
morality.
All politics are based on someone's sense of
morality, whether it is good morality or bad
morality.
Catholics aren't the only people with religious
views, by the way. Atheists have religious views.
Agnostics have religious views. Protestants have
religious views. Jews have religious views.
Muslims have religious views.
They can pretend that politics is somehow
separate from morality, when it is convenient for
them to do so. That's when they snivel and cry
out Foul! Foul! "Separation of Church and
State"!! They hope we peasants out in
America-land are stupid enough to buy their
trash. What is sad, is most Americans do buy
their rhetoric. How sad for us!
If you want a "wall of Separation of Church
and State" then you had better throw out our
"moral laws" such as killing, stealing,
false witnessing, etc. because they are all moral
legislation straight from God's moral laws.
I keep waiting for some lunatic to grab some ACLU
socialist anti-God, anti-Christian lawyer and
challenge these "God-given moral laws
legislation" in our high courts across this
land.
And if
you don't think that this catchphrase is
dangerous the socialist left are using, think
again! It is straight from the pit of hell! The
ramification of this false statement and belief
is destroying our Christian moral laws, and our
Constitutional rights.
Help us fight against The ACLU's attacks upon our
Christian heritage and our Constitution!
