This gives new meaning to the phrase "classified briefs" says Michael Savage today.

I say, this gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "high treason".

Former President Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger, is under criminal investigation for taking highly classified terrorism documents that should have been turned over to the independent commission probing the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Berger, being caught red-handed in a clandestine "search and destroy" is being investigated by the FBI.

Also, we have just learned of the media's "cover-up" of this bit of information. This hush-hush effort by our news media should be an outrage to the American people. Mysterious secret cover-ups held hidden until after the final release of the 911 Commissions report.

Why the closed mouth from the Bush Administration and our Republican elected reps. all these months? This just didn't happen. The FBI has been investigating Berger since last year.

These covert cover-ups by news media and representatives in government is enough to send American's into a rage.

The Democrat Party, I'm sure, knew about this Berger heist, but kept it undercover (for how long?) because they knew it could hurt their candidate John Kerry before the Democrat Convention, possibly keeping him from gaining in the polls over Bush or maybe raising eyebrows concerning Clinton's role before 911. After all, you can't place guilt on someone for not doing something you yourself didn't do -referring to accussions toward Bush and his alleged failure to stop the 911attacks.

What we do know is there seems to be an immense covert cover-up going on behind the scenes.

Deputy Attorney General James Comey said Tuesday that "It is against the law for anyone to intentionally mishandle classified information, either by taking it to give to somebody else, or by mishandling in a way that is outside the regulations of government information," Comey told reporters in Washington.

Well Mr. Deputy Attorney General Comey, I would call this an act of high treason, not just a "simple mishandling of classified information!"

What ever happened to "TREASON" being called "TREASON" in this country? Have we gone that far down the slippery slopes of injustice and so-called "tolerance" where anyone connected to Bill Clinton is "above the law"? Obviously we have!

Mr. Comey continues, "We take issues of classified information very, very seriously," he added.

Evidently, not too very, very seriously Mr. Comey!

As U.S. Attorney for New York's Southern District, Comey oversaw the indictment of Martha Stewart who was just sentenced to five months in jail last week.

If this is an indication as to what will happen to Berger, then he will get a slap on the hand, a slap on the back and walk...for his high treason.
