howdy,
it is important to me as an artist to reject (as much as is possible) the following:
- modern apps or tools that bog down/contaminate the creative process with analytics of any kind
- anything too flashy
- anything too aesthetically clean or smooth
- the wild westy limitlessness of the new internet
- things that cost a lot of money
& so on
in saying this, i cop to the fact that most artists, myself included, still have to use certain platforms to promote or disseminate work due to there being very few alternatives.
this website is my tiny protest against the new internet and all its ills. it's an artistic choice & a place to chill.
