Story:
Dr. Briefs is the founder and CEO of the Capsule Corporation.
He is the genius responsible for creating many of the handy devices that Bulma uses on her adventures.
Everything in the series that is spawned from one of those dynamic capsules was invented by either Dr. Briefs or Buruma.
Dr. Briefs plays a pretty small role in the story, and is often used as comic relief.

Story:
Mrs. Briefs is the wife of Dr. Briefs and the mother of Buruma.
She plays a very small role in the story, but talks a lot.
She has the sunniest disposition in the series, and is impecably nice to everyone.
She even digs Vegita when she first meets him.
And for some reason, she almost never opens her eyes. Very strange...

Story:
Buruma is the second character (after Goku) to be introduced into the Dragon Ball series.
She hits Goku (and the fish he was carrying) while driving through the woods, searching for the mystical "Dragonballs."
She eventually persuades Goku to come along with her, and thought that he would make a good bodyguard.
Buruma has blue hair, and is the mother of Trunks.
Although Buruma has no skills as a fighter, she is a genius with all sorts of electronics, alien and domestic.
