card captor sakura storyline

GENERAL STORYLINE:
Card Captor Sakura is about a little girl (10 years old to be exact) named Sakura Kinomoto who stumbles upon a book called the Clow in the library. The Clow is a book that is designed to hold these magical cards called Clow Cards but by the time Sakura found the book, the cards had already escaped while Cerberus, the guardian beast of the Clow book was taking a nap, yes, you heard me, while he was taking a nap. NEwayz, Kerberos makes Sakura become a Card Captor and that means that Sakura must gather all the Clow Cards or disaster will come. As a Card Captor, Sakura gains a Key, which becomes a staff and is used to capture the cards. Each time she captures a card she also gains its unique power and thus her little adventure begins...
Clow Card Series:
First of all, read the general outline because that's the basic plot of the Clow Card Series. ^^ This series is pretty kewl. Near the end of the series we see all the cards are collected and judgement has to be made by Yue, who just happens to be Yukito. This judgement involves a fight between Sakura and himself. No help is allowed. If Sakura wins, she will become Mistress of the Clow but if she loses, Sakura will lost all her memories that involve the Clow. However, with the help of Kaho Mizuki, Sakura does win and Yue goes back into dormancy leaving a very confused Yukito. (Yukito has no memory of the event.) Before the battle did end though, Sakura meets Clow Reed. Ironically, he is... well, that's for you to find out...or just keep on reading. ^^

Sakura Card Series:
You guessed it, Card Captor Sakura is now in its second season and let's just say it's pretty cooool. Let's talk about the cards first. The Clow Cards are more powerful than ever and are literally...no longer Clow Cards but Sakura Cards. The name "Sakura Cards" was provided by the ever loving and loyal Tomoyo. ^^ (Hence, Sakura becomes the Mistress of the Sakura Cards) Here's a little shocker, the enemy is suspected to be none other than Clow Reed. Yikes, but his other alias is Eriol Hiiragizawa, a new kid in town that also happens to be a good friend and classmate of Sakura. And, boy...is he powerful. Other new characters are Nakuru Akizuki and Spinel, who (I would say) are the equivilant of Yue and Kerberos. NEwayz, it turns out that Eriol is actually the reincarnation of Clow Reed (that would explain the resemblance ^^) but that's not all, he's only half of Clow Reed's reincarnation, Sakura's father, Fujitaka Kinomoto is the other! Eriol only started the "trouble" because he did not wish to be the most powerful wizard in the world. This was the same wish Clow Reed had. Clow Reed had tried to do this by having two reincarnations. Unfortunately, he failed because all the power went to Eriol. However, Eriol succeeded. In order to split the actual magic in half, Sakura had to become stronger than Clow. This happens due to the fact that Sakura continues to change Clow Cards into Sakura cards. So, when she does transform all of them, she casts the spell required to split the magic and Eriol returns to England with Nakuru, Suppi-chan and Kaho (o_0, she appears at the end and...it is hinted strongly that she and Eriol are in love). Of course, tho Eriol has his happy ending, Sakura has yet to have hers...and she doesn't know it. heh heh.. (read below for more)
Shaolan is adorable as ever because his crush on Sakura is even more apparent. However, he does have some competition from Eriol and of course, the ever adorable (and has a bottomless pit of a stomach) Yukito. Speaking of which, Yukito and Shaolan have become guardians of sorts. NEwayz, throughout the entire season (much to my delight) Shaolan tries to express his love for Sakura which resulted in some hilarious moments. In the end he does leaving Sakura extremely confused with her feelings. However, due to business in Hong Kong, Shaolan has to return to his homeland and Sakura realizes that her favourite person is Shaolan. Sakura expresses these feelings and they both now keep teddy bears with the other's name implying that they will be together forever. Shaolan leaves and Sakura says that she will wait for him "always, always and always". A few years later, Sakura and Shaolan are reunited saying they will be together forever and thus makes a sugary conclusion to this fun manga. ^^
