This episode opens with humour when Nick wakes up to discover Sylvie at his place, and he thinks they've had a night of passion together when she talks of being hot, and his invitation etc.??!!
Down at the harbour, a man and his young son are defending themselves from some thugs as they unsuccessfully try to board a boat, and flee down the jetty again as the boat leaves.
At the Tropical Heat Bar, Nick is having a chit-chat with Ian, then he assists an attractive girl change into her swimwear and simultaneously flirt with her. Meanwhile, at Nick's office, Sylvie is talking to her manicurist Denise about Denise's broken marriage, and how her estranged husband Glen has kidnapped their son Robbie. Nick then shows up and is introduced to Denise and all her problems.
When Nick, Sylvie and Denise track down Glen, it turns out that an old prison 'pal' of Glen needs his son Robbie as leverage to persuade Glen to do one more dodgy caper for him...
After a disjointed beginning, this turns out to be quite a good episode.
