The picture on the left shows a mysterious repaired 'rip' in the guard fence built on the ledge of the bridge. This is near the center of the bridge, with a 55-foot drop to the tracks below. The image on the right is a closer shot. Why would someone cut through the fence, unless that person wanted access to the tracks?
What is needed to either solve or deepen this mystery is a careful examination of the top or bottom portion of the fence at the rip, to determine if at least a portion of the one-piece integrity is completely intact and not a patching of two pieces of fencing.
