| TRUST AND TALK (THE 2 T'S) |
| True friends will stand beside you even if they go away Because you know in your heart - they will always stay! They won't leave you behind when you're depressed and sad And they do their best not to make you mad! Some people can only trust themselves Because the "friends" they trusted just up and left! They don't know who to talk to so they keep it inside But their hearts are aching and, oh, how wide!! Some people can't ever find anyone to put their faith in But others soon find someone they can share it with! I did have someone - if I wanted to - that I could talk to But he's moved on and I have to start anew! I could probably still talk to him - but it's so hard I've missed him ever since February 9th - the night he left with my heart!! He's in the next room if I want to talk But I don't have the nerve to get up and take that walk! Sometimes, he was hard to understand, But, for awhile, he was my man! He's drinking now and more than any person should I should tell him all this but I don't think I ever could!
