Last night, I dreamed about you being mine
With you, I didn't have to wait in line.
You were all I'd ever dreamed of
You were all it took for me to fall in love!
I asked you, "Do you care about me?"
And you said, "Come here and I'll show you what you mean to me!"
You never got distant while you were with the guys
To me - that made you a better man in my eyes!
I asked you, "What was it that eventually got us together?"
You said, "I don't know but I've got a feeling this is forever!"

We were at a football game and you proposed to me
I was laughing 'cause you got down on one knee!
I thought you were joking till you pulled out the ring
Then I started falling but you were the wind beneath my wings!
You made me feel something that I'd never felt before then
And you stirred every one of my emotions deep within!
You reached over to kiss me and asked me, "What's it gonna be?"
I started crying and I hugged you, then I said, "Can we leave?"
On the way to your car, I made you stop and ask me again,
And I said, "Yes! I'll be yours till the end!"

You pulled me close and lifted me into your arms
Then I awoke - with you deep in my heart!!
