| The moon and stars are shining so bright I'm wondering where you are tonight! I've not gotten much sleep since the night you left But I keep hoping you'll be back someday, to myself! I never thought that losing you would hit me so hard But you left me and took my heart! I thought we were forever because you were my soul mate But I can't tell you that now because it's too late! If I was to see you again, I wouldn't know of what to say Something else will always get in the way! You've been a part of my life for so many years And since you left, I've shed so many tears! I've kept my feelings buried deep inside, so no one knows I'm hurting so much but I'm not letting it show! I have a life of my own to live again And my wounds are slowly beginning to mend!
