| 1. Actor, Franklin Halt who plays "Ice" in the movie is actually a distant relative of actor, Peter Bissonette who played "Sloth" in the film. 2. An attempt to make a sequel to The Trespassers was first made in 1992. After a few scenes were shot, production halted. The scenes remained lost until the 2003 "Special Edition" where they were worked into the existing 1994 film. 3. Actor/producer Darrick Sawyer originally agreed to make a small cameo appearance in the film, reprising his role as "Snake". He bowed out for unknown reasons. 4. Actor, Jon Kruithof, who first appeared in Director, Jason Stewart's art film, Concrete Robe, starred in Splitting Images as Dr. Argyle. He also played another role in the film (under the acting name, Jon Martyr), poking fun at his previous Concrete Robe character. Few got the joke. 5. Jon Kruithof thought up the name for the Reksat character. When Jason Stewart mentioned to Jon that the Tasker character was to have a clone, Jon suggested "Reksat" which is "Tasker" spelled backwards! 6. It never got the cult following of its predecessor and was hardly mentioned in Trespassers biographies. It disappeared into obscurity for nearly a decade until its recent upgrade to video. 9. In the original script, Dr. Argyle was to have originally had a female lab assistant. An actress could not be found so the character was discarded. 10.The "Tasker" character was to have originally died in the movie. It appears that in the end of the film, he actually does die. Somehow though, he was brought back in the third film as a physically disfigured character. |
