In terms of economic idea

Economics expresses the existing truth systematically. Economics is, in fact, a complex formation between philosophy, psychology and mathematics. Because people in the economic activity, use philosophy while satisfying their needs no matter how the economic system established in the society. An individual and the society, while forming that system and keeping to the rules of the system and policies, benefit from the principles of psychology and philosophy. An enonomy which has no philosophy can not be considered. This philosophy also exists in the modern society and in this technological world.

Here, we are going to see contemporary approaches to economics. How economic ideas proceed and change as the modern society develops further. And in this technological world which economic approaches are available and useful will be mentioned.

Ecological Economics is a wide concept. A transdisciplinary approach to economics which makes use of many sciences: Economics, social sciences and environmental sciences.

Economic ideas have changed. They have become more environmental. Relation between economics and nature has showed us human impact on environment, the consequences, alternative approaches, etc. But it is not adequate to leave it at the “environmental” point. Technological developments and natural discourses show us that the future will not be the same. Just take a look at new discoveries, new developments. They are all to take mankind to a better future. On the other hand natural disasters, the starving image of Africa, fluctiations in financial systems require a question: Is future really bright as it is assumed? In this point, we must think twice about what we have done until now and what are we going to do. Policies applied in current economic systems may not support the oncoming technological developments and natural discourse. We need people who think broader and who can take risks and be courageous to set up the future. We now have more opportunities than before. These opportunities give us clues to shape the future´s life styles. WE can see even in Hollywood-style science-fictions that may give us more insight about the future. We should at least think that creativ minds produce those science-fictions.
