Caravan Park Flinders Ranges Caravan Park (FPA) $16 and dog friendly. Toilets & showers very good with shampoo, conditioner and hand soap provided. Bore water at tap & rain water from tank. Small door mats provided at caravan door. Plenty of shade.

We first went into Port Augusta to pick up some shopping and then called into see Reg and Phyllis (Marilyn's Father and Mother), but they weren't home. We left Reg's hat with the neighbour across the road as it was already mid-day and we needed to make tracks.

Roy at the Hawker racesWe stopped in Quorn for lunch and then continued in to Hawker. The scenery is darn good as you travel across the plains with the Flinders Ranges in the background.

After we set up camp we dropped into the Hawker Races and caught the last race. A good crowd in attendance.

Odette had a good day filming and photographing and came home to cook a great dinner of pork with Dijon sauce. Roy excelled and did the dishes tonight. We will leave for Marree in the morning.
