Lord MCP - Tamela came from our my imagination, Sesame St. taught me how to do that. Felchor has probably had a few Tamela's piss on him before

Baz - Do you have a favourite Smothered Brothers song?
Lord MCP - Everybody's favourite seems to be Short Bus To Sodom, but I personally think that Teaching Your Girlfriend To Suck Your Dog's Dick is where it's at.
Felchor - Crotch Crickets from the older stuff, Short Bus To Sodom from the middle period and the new track Chinese Lunch Special are my favs. They all captured fresh performancesand sound very 'alive' to these ears.
Baz - I read anotehr interview somwhere that you guys might be hooking up with those crazy Sperman Porngrind fucks Purulent Spermcanal! These guys play some of the filthiest, most original and downright funny Porngrind I've ever heard - do you have anything planned at all?
Lord MCP - There's plenty of talk but if anything goes on it will be later on down the road
Felchor - There is some talk. We are in contact but I don't want to say more 'till I know more. But I can tell you if there was on eband I want to release something with it's them.
Baz - Are you guys drinkers, smokers and/or tokers, or do you steer clear of such things?
Lord MCP - I think it's safe to say that all of us indulge in some sort chemical recreation.
Felchor - We all party but Fistor is a total drunk. He used to sing more but these days he keeps trying to drink the microphone which to this point has yielded little results. MCP is allergic to red food dye and spends a lot of time in the 'TIME OUT CHAIR' and swallows his tongue on occasion. I chain smoke bongs 24-7 and like to booze it up. Fistor and I like the No2 but since we can count our remaning brain cells without taking off our shoes those days are getting fewer and farther between.
Baz - Bands like Urethral Enema, Spamicidal! and Sleepy Samurai are connected with Smothered Brothers in some way, or so I have heard - how many of you guys are there in this veritabnle Porngrind Circle?
Lord MCP - Well actually Sleepy Samurai, Urethral Enema and Catatonic Disorientation are/were my fickle one man projects so that kinda cuts it down a bit. I think just about every Pornogrind band is in one way or another connected to a few other bands and it all just forms one big smut parade.
Felchor - A lot of that is MCPs work. He has the attention span and energy of a Thai hooker on crack so he's pretty prolific. I stay in touch with a bunch of bands and help some bigger acts like Waco Jesus and Macabre with promotion and stuff like that.
Baz - Are you happy with how your music has been received so far by the fans and the Grind critics?
Lord MCP - It's nice to know people appreciate it, We don't get enough skanky groupies though. Our mission is to have our own following of gonnorhea infested groupie skanks.
Felchor - Both our fans really like us and my mom says we are great. The reaction has been surprising. Outside the US people understand us a lot more. The average US metal fan has no idea who Running Guts and Frankensperm are for example so I don't expect them to understand us. We get lots of mail and have moved over 250 copies of Puppy Rocket so far. With basically only word of mouth advertising. We have been invited to be on some comps and will soon release a 7" with Decomposing Serenity. Things are really picking up as it seems the Japanese have figured out who we are. e have gotten mostly great reviews but there are a few shitty ones. Most of the criticism has been about the lo-fi sound and subject matter. Fuck them if they don't get it. Some bands spend big cash in the studio rehearsing tired brutal death riffs into the ground. We say, fuck that! We record on a shoestring budget, when the mood hits and use improv and random techniques to keep things fresh. The metal market is based on disposable music from disposable bands and we want no part of that. SBs is about taking drugs to make sounds sick enough to make your grandma spread Nutella on her beaver and have the dog lick it off. Fuck all that business and money making bullshit. We are a no profit thing and that will never change.
Baz - What can we expect next from the band? More split releases or a full length perhaps?
Lord MCP - There will be a Smothered Brothers/Decomposing Serenity split 7" on Shitworm Prod. in the near future. Hopefully more splits and vinyl to come, we will se what happens.
Felchor - The new tracks for the Decomposing Serenity 7" are all recorded and just need some spit and polish. After that we will focus on the noise stuff to get the Ski Mask split out. If my cock still throbs to the grooves, SB will continue..........
