Baz  - Hello Aaron! How are you? As you may have predicted, my first question concerns the formation and inspiration of Oxidised Razor. When did you and your fellow gorefreaks start the band, and who influenced you to do so?
Aaron - OxRx started since some years ago, and in 1998 born officially, at the beginning of '99 we started with the rehearsal. Before all played with other bands since 90's. Then I got the idea because I knew Jhony, a drunknness fellow and we played in a Grind and Black Metal band, since 95-96 and I played with Luis in a Grind Hard Core band too. I just played with the two bands at the same time, so both were my friends.
OxRx born like an alternated project to the HxCx band, because the Black Metal band has disintegrated. I told to Jhony that I want to do something more fast and raw, and we remembered the 90's bands like :
Carcass, Impetigo, Mortician, Agathocles, Fear of God, Napalm Death, Necrony, Smegma, etc, and we decided to get back making that great grind.
I started composing songs influenced by these bands. Until I had something cover I invitied Luis to help us with the drums and he accepted, so to the ends of '99 the HxCx band finish, and Luis stayed full time with us; then we rehearsal in a correct way and without dissapointments we started up the wild begin, much alcohol, guests and beers in the rehearsals, because we were of the first bands called ourselves "sick grindcore". In the middle of '99 we played in some places wiht original themes and covers, it's when our proposal had seriousness and we looked for a bassist. Luisa came in and stayed with us almost a year. We recorded our first disc for A.L. in 2000.  I had an accident that immobilised the band the middle of 2001. Then on the ends of 2002 we recorded the second disc that released in January of 2003 for Obliteration Recs. of Japan, and in the middle of 2003, we decided to take out a chronology of the band with unpublished themes and one a live with good quality in a split CD with our friends of
CARNE. Appearing so for in some compilations around the world, even here we go...and the history continues.

Baz - What is the current Oxidised Razor line-up, and what atrocities have you released so far?
Aaron - This is the current :

The official CDs are :
1- Demo 99 - 00 Rehearsal tape
2 - "La Realidad es Sangrienta" CD    AL. Mexico
3 - "Carne....Sangre"   Ob Recs Japan

5 - Tribute to Gut CD    AL

Baz - On your debut album, La Realidad Es Sangrienta, you play an energetic and rhythmic style of Goregrind, with a dirty sound. The followup, ...Carne...Sangre...is a more varied and rounded album, with very good production. Are you please wiht the progress you have made over the course of the two albums?
Aaron - Look, to be honest, I'd like to record again the first album, with the sound of the second one, it's an excellent sound, but at once, like you said the first it's more energetic and dirty, essential, and the cleanliness of the second takes away force, even so, I really like both, the third, is a chronology, for the fourth disc we work more and I'll intent to combine the two releases, wait it!!!!!

Baz - Your releases all feature inlay layouts depicting horrific injuries, victims of gruesome accidents and piles of other assorted guts and gore. The artwork for ...Carne...Sangre... combines such images with cuttings of pornography. What message do you hope to get across with your shocking imagery? Have you had any negative reactions from anyone about your cover art?
Aaron - Yes, that's it. All our covers are of this style. We liked simply it's real. Accidents happen daily, death, violence and by the other side sex, and pornography, in a newstand you can look many magazines of this kind, xxx magazines, and newspapers with hundred of murder news, deaths etc. It's only the truth, it doesn't enrage. We didn't make this kind of message it's there, and everywhere. And until now we didn't have any problem, just it was printed clandestinity in Japan [ja, ja, ja], because there is prohibit to show pornography in this way.

Baz - Who have you been listening to recently?
Aaron - I, to Disgorged Foetus, an excellent French band, excellent CD tribute to Gut, and the bootleg of Carcass and Napalm Death 87-88 live!!

Baz - There are a few live photos scattered around the inside of your album sleeves, which do well to fire one's imagination regarding the live Oxidised Razor experience. Do you play live often and what can be expected from a typical gig?
Aaron - Sure, suddenely we play continued, and sometimes there isn't anything. Je, je, je, if we're drunk there's show, if not a few, but generaly we're drunk. We didn't make any kind of show, I think that we just overflow energy, and that's it, I don't know people like it, even if we don't make anything, sometimes when we're really drunk we invite to sing somebody or something like that.

Baz : What equipment do you use?
Aaron - I use a BC Rich Warlock guitar, a Peavey amplifier with Fender speakers, TAMA drums, Ibanes Bass and my Boss pedal. When it's alive generally with you find there.

Baz - Do you have a favourite Oxidised Razor song?
Aaron - Yes, my favourite is "Anal Carnage"

Baz - I understand you have a side project called Red Hot Piggy Pussys. Please tell us about this band.
Aaron - Look, RxHxPxPx it's a project, seperately of OxRx, just now Jhony is with me, he helps me with voices, and other fellow gives me the movies intros. I make the drum bassis in my PC and record guitar and voices, but this project is beginning, so if you want more information look the site http://rhpp.deathgrind.com/ or make an interview to Lord Gore-Do, that is who take it away, (ja, ja, ja) ups!!!
