Jebbs Toys & Nova Fontana update.

I went to Greenhills just this saturday to check stuff out.

Jebbs has the TF Universe (RiD) Optimus Prime & Ultra Magnus. The price is the same as that of BEST toys: PhP 4,000.00 pesos each.

Not surprising anymore. =(

On the other side of Jebbs Toys, Nova Fontana gave me a surprise. I was reading a very old Secret Wars game inside the store when I overheard the counter lady say to bring out the boxes of Transformers. I couldn't help myself. I watched where the guy went and brought out 3 or 4 boxes (not so big ones). I saw a large number of Rescue Force (recolored Breast Force members from TF Victory) toys packed in the boxes! I asked them if they had any other Transformers aside from the set. They said no =(. Either that or the warehouse guy didn't want to bother himself looking for them. Oh, and the Rescue Force was being sold as a bulk.

I asked the sales lady why they didn't display the stuff instead of putting them all in boxes. She said the owner was waiting for the right opportunity to sell them. I couldn't understand what she meant by that. =(

Geez, and I was hoping they had some leftovers from the Micromasters, Pretenders, or even Generation One. Durn luck.

So far it caught me by suprise to see all TF stuff going down, but it pains to not see anymore new stuff coming out. If that happens let's hope that another local toy distributor picks up the slack in bringing new Transformers as well new Armada releases.
