INTENT OF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
The Project Management Institute's PMP certification is an increasingly important certification for a Project Engineer to hold; it represents a professional approach to and thorough understanding of current best-practices in the field of project management. My project management background, although complete and broad, will be enhanced by this certification. I am fully registered and certified with PMI as of June 2003.
Becoming a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado will increase my marketability in my chosen career field, as well as satisfying many regulatory requirements that my pool of potential employers may be facing. Upon registration, I plan to continue my professional self-directed studies in more traditional educational ventures, mostly for personal satisfaction. |
