Elle asked as the team, including Lucy sat around the conference table. "Well we'll just have to close our doors until we get back." "Jimmy, what about those innocents who need us?" "They can find other firms, there are enough of them." Lindsay along with Lucy and Jimmy were determined for them to go on their trip within the next month, during the spring so it's not so hot, but the others weren't so sure. It had been about 4 years since they had won the trip from the fair but they had been too busy to go, with trials and personal commitment's, Lindsay had fallen pregnant, and their son Jordan was 3 and a half, Helen had been dating Mike Maguire for about a year, Lucy and her Celtic boyfriend broke up but still remain good friends, Sharon moved to New York with Kendal but Eugene sees him every time he can and Jimmy and Roberta have started to get serious again. "Bobby please!" Lindsay said sternly and gave him a agree with me or else look. "What about Helen?" Bobby asked, feeling he had her there, but she came back. "She want's to go this month too, she has already explained the situation to her boss and organised her holidays so she just gives him the word and she can go!" Lindsay smiled at his defeat. After awhile Bobby gave in and Lucy, Lindsay and Jimmy cheered while the others gave each other 'I'm not sure about this ' looks. "Ok so it's settled now, I'll get all the details and organise everything!" Lindsay said jumping from her seat and skipping to her desk to get started. ----A week later----- "...and we'll see Donald Duck, and Goofy anndd who else?" "Mickey!!!!" The gang was sitting in the waiting area waiting for their plane, Bobby and Eugene were going through plans, Elle and Lucy went to look at the international shop, Jimmy and Beck were standing at the window and Lindsay and Helen were getting Jordie (Jordan) excited about Disney land. There was no way Lindsay or Bobby were going to leave him behind so they bought him a ticket. Bobby looked at his watch. " Where are Elle and Lucy? We have to board in five minutes!" Eugene got up and looked around the corner. "Their coming down the escalator now!" He walked over to Beck and Jimmy and called them over to grab their stuff and get ready. When the announcement for their flight sounded they crowded giddily around the entrance with their tickets in hand. One by one they walked onto the plane and to their business class seats, complementary of the competition. The business class section had sets of three seats on either side with an isle down the middle. "Here Jordie sit in the middle, Bobby you want the window seat?" "Why thank you!" He said and climbed over Jordie to his seat. "Ooh I get the window seat!" Lucy pushed past Beck and practically jumped into her seat. "Ooh I hate flying! That's the only bad thing about this trip!" Whined Helen as she swayed down the aisle. "What about leaving Mike?" "You need a holiday every now and then!" She replied as she sat down next to Lucy and put her seat belt on as fast as she could. Ellenor sat down next to Helen with Jimmy, Beck and Eugene behind them and Bobby, Jordie and Lindsay behind them. In no time they were airborne. "Helen! Stop chewing so loudly!!" Lucy asked in an annoyed voice. "I can't help it my ears always hurt when I fly if I don't chew!" She said while still chewing. "Uggh!" Lucy heaved and turned the other way. "Here plug in your ear phones!" Ellenor pulled out a pair of ear phones from the pocket in front of Lucy and plugged them in. meanwhile Jimmy had brought his Laptop and Eugene and him were fighting over how to play a 3D action game with Beck getting squashed in the middle. "No Jimmy you need the blue key to open the sliding door!" Eugene pointed to a little symbol in the corner of the screen. "I already have it!" "Then why won't it open? Huh? Oh!" Eugene huffed just as the door opened. "Quick you have to get to the lift, no no shoot him oh man your too slow!" "Oh like you could do better?" Jimmy said as he struggled with the enemy. "Yeah I could pass it over!!" Eugene said and put his arm in front of Beck reaching for the computer. "Fine go ahead! Let's just see you try and beat it!" Jimmy said and passed the game over. Eugene started out fine but soon found himself stuck. "Oh you too are hopeless! Give it here!" Beck announced and grabbed the computer off Eugene. She started the level again. "Man Beck where did you learn to play like that?" Jimmy asked in astonishment as she passed through to the next level in no time. "Yeah that was amazing I have never seen someone pass that level so quickly!" Eugene said leaning in to make sure he wasn't seeing things. "Well what else was there to do when you guys were in court all day?" She said matterfactly and played on with Jimmy and Eugene looking over her shoulder in awe and pointing out enemies. "What are you two drawing?" Bobby asked as he watched Lindsay draw with Jordie. "A fwog!" He exclaimed still focusing on his drawing. Bobby gave a little chuckle. "And what is mom drawing?" Jordie looked over to Lindsay's page and examined it then scrunched up his face and turned back to Bobby. "She was posed to draw a wizard, but it doesn't look like one." "It is a lizard!" Lindsay said defensively, Bobby gave her a 'what ever you reckon?' look. "Well, I'm not finished it yet!" She said and turned back to continue with it. "Mom, I'll draw it!" Jordie stated and put his hand on the paper to pull it away. Lindsay let him have it and sat back and looked at Bobby who was chuckling. "I could of drawn it! I just didn't want him to start getting fussy!" She said and looked down to watch Jordan. "Don't worry, I understand...." Lindsay looked up at him with a gracious look, he continued. "I couldn't draw lizards when I was 34 either!" He said with a laugh and lifted his elbow in defensive as Lindsay whacked him. "Excuse me," An attendant walked up to Lindsay. "Would your son like to come see the cock pit?" Lindsay turned to Jordie. "Hey you want to go see the pilot and see where they fly the plane?" "Yeah!!!" he said looking up with a hopeful look. "Bobby, you want go with him?" "Sure!" he replied and got Jordan out of his seat and followed the attendant. Lindsay moved forward and stuck her head between the two seats in front of her. "Hey guys what ya doing?" "Playing Triumph 3!" Eugene said turning his head slightly to talk to her but not taking his eyes of the game. Beck was teaching jimmy tactics. "Oh we used to have tournaments of that in college! The girls kicked ass!" Lindsay gloated. "What, here I was thinking this was a guys game and we can't even play it and the girls can!" Eugene sighed shaking his head. Meanwhile Helen and Ellenor were in the middle of a stressful game of cribbage. "Ha ha man I'm whipping you!!!" Ellenor almost sang. "Yeah you got a lucky streak that's all, I know what I'm doing!" Helen said trying to make it sound like she could play. "What ever!" Ellernor said as Helen gave her an evil stare. "Yeah well maybe I'm just letting you win! Ha?" Helen sat up proud with a 'what do you say to that?' Look. "Yeah first it's just luck then its strategy!" Ellenor laughed, as Helen got frustrated. "Fine!" She growled " Lucy keep it down would ya I'm trying to concentrate!" Helen snared taking her annoyance out on any one. Lucy was singing to the radio getting into it as usual. "Hey I have been singing for awhile now and you had no problem before!" Lucy huffed pulling the earphones down to talk. "Yeah well it's too much now!" "She's loosing right!" Lucy stated rather than asked Ellenor. "You have noo idea!" Ellenor laughed. Bobby walked back with Jordie and sat down. "Mooom! Look!" Jordie stated, beaming and pulling his t-shirt to present the gold wings that had been pinned there. "Wow baby, what did you see up there?" "Oh we saw... well there were lots of bottoms!" Lindsay tried to hide her laugh as Bobby corrected his mistake. "Buttons!" "Yeah, and he showded us how he flyed the plane! And I tried on his hat and we looked out side!" Jordie finished then put his head down to examine the wings again. The rest of flight was just as eventful and after more disagreements on who really killed the goblin and who was cheating they landed with a loudly chewing Helen, an annoyed Lucy and a giddy group. ------------------------------------------------------------- I know I know it was hardly anything but it was taking me ages and I didn't want to keep people for eons so I decided to start it off! Lucy grinned as she walked through the hotel suites with the others trying to get passed her suitcases that had been dumped at the door. Their rooms were actually in one the Disney Land hotels. "Hey Lucy you wanna move these?" Jimmy scoffed then widened his eyes as he took a look at the room. "Wow! Very nice!" "Ok moving right along!" Eugene ushered them all in. They all sat on the big double bed in the middle, following Bobby's orders. "Ok guys we'll work out the rooms then get unpacked then at say one o'clock we'll meet back here and go get some lunch then see what's going on! How's that sound?" "Let's go! Faster we are quicker we eat!" Helen sprang up and started looking for her room. They spread into the hallways going in and out of doors, picking up bags, leaving bags, etc. Due to the large number of them they could not accommodate them all in there own rooms so, Helen and Lucy were sharing, Bec and Ellenor, Eugene and Jimmy and of course Bobby, Lindsay and Jordie were.* "Lucy!" Helen exclaimed as she walked over to the hanging cupboard with a pile of clothes over her arm. Lucy had already taken up almost half of the space. "What, I left room!" Lucy said as she swiped her arm the length of what she left. "Yeah sure! Well if you get that much room I get the bed near the window!" Lucy contemplated what was more important, Space or Sun; of course she would get more sun if she could go outside, which she couldn't with creased clothes. "Fine take the bed!� Lucy stated. That wasn't exactly what Helen wanted, she was hoping that Lucy would take the bed.* "I don't want mess Jimmy!" Eugene warned casually. But as usual Jimmy takes it over. "I am tidy why does everyone think I'm a messy person?" He huffed. "I was just saying!" Eugene rolled his eyes. "I know what you meant and I am clean!" "Ok, ok!" Eugene moved over to the bed near the window and sat down. Jimmy sat down on the other bed and grunted. "This bed is hard!" He got up and went and sat down next to Eugene, he jumped up and down a little to test the springs. "Do you mind?" Eugene raised his eyebrows and glanced at Jimmy. "Um do you mind if we swap beds?" "What?" "Well I can't sleep on hard beds and this one is softer." Jimmy looked hopeful at him. "Fine!" He huffed and moved to the other bed somewhat annoyed.* "Jordie! Hey give it back!" Bobby laughed as Jordie ran out the door that adjoined there room and Bec and Elle's room, with Bobby's shirt that Lindsay had given him to give to Daddy, but he had draped it on his head and ran out the room. "Lindsay can you get him!" Bobby stressed, he had got his cuff court on the zip of the suitcase and was struggling with it. Lindsay chuckled and half skipped out the room to retrieve Jordie.* "So Bec you gonna go on any rides?" Ellenor asked with a small smile on her face remembering the Mad max at the fair. "Maybe.... not with you though!" She answered nervously but trying to hide it. "Oh I know some good ones for you!" Elle laughed as she saw the look on Bec's face. "BOO!" Jordie ran into the room with Bobby's shirt on his head and grabbed Ellenor's legs from behind. "Argg!" It was Bec's turned to laugh as Elle jumped ten feet high. "Scared are ya Elle?" She scoffed. "Uuhh!" she sighed at the realization of it being Jordie, and gave Bec a 'look'. "Hey I'll have the last laugh Bec!" she warned. "Did I scare? Did I scare?" Jordie peeked out from under the shirt with a huge grin on his face. "Yeah ya did little guy!" Elle patted his head. "Jord!" Lindsay called coming through the door. He pulled the shirt back down and ran behind the bed to hide, but Lindsay saw. She had played this game before. "Oh Bec, Elle have you seen Jordie?" She asked with raised eyebrows and loud enough for him to hear. They caught on. "No I haven't!" Bec exclaimed. "BOO!" He giggled and jumped out and climbed onto the bed. "Oh there he is!" Lindsay smiled and lifted her arms out for him to jump into. He sprang off the bed into her arms. "You little ragamuffin!" She laughed and pulled the shirt of his head and gave him raspberry on his cheek. "Sorry guys!" Lindsay carried him out and back into her room, and closed the door so he couldn't get out again. "Linds, could you sow this button back on for me?" Bobby held the button that had come off his cuff after the attack from the zip. "Take your shirt off and give it here." She sat on the bed and dug out her little emergency sow kit from her bag. "Oww! Oh man!" "What?" Bobby turned around to see Lindsay sucking her finger. "Pricked my finger!" Bobby bent over and took her hand to kiss the prick. "Awe, guys come on!" Helen burst into through the door from Bec's room, to see Bobby with his shirt off kissing Lindsay's finger. "Your supposed to be unpacking not... and with your son in the room!" "Helen!" They said in unison. "I pricked my finger sowing on a button!" Lindsay stood up and gave Bobby back his shirt. "Well I can't wait I'm starved so I'm rounding everyone up to go." She walked over and lifted up Jordie who had his arms up for a hug. "And I'm taking your son hostage so hurry up before this hunger ridden kidnapper does something unforgivable!" "Guess we better go!" Bobby said with a raise of his eyebrows.* "Wow Disney land has heaps!" Bec exclaimed looking at the guide booklet after they had finished eating. "Well since we are half way through the day already we can't do as much exploring so how about we walk around just getting a feel and stuff then tomorrow it's party time!" Lindsay suggested. "Sounds okay to me everyone else?" Elle asked. Yeps all round were heard so up they went to there rooms to get ready, sunscreen, hats, backpacks, etc.* "Ok man do we have places to go tomorrow!" Lucy exclaimed "Namely the blue lagoon! Tanning here we come!" They had walked around looking at the close by places and examing signboards, then when they got hungry enough they found a cute little hamburger place with cartoon type booths and surroundings. "Well we better get some sleep for tomorrow so night!" Eugene slid out and the rest followed. Though the team was tired there giddiness was visible for their awaiting adventures, as they climbed the stairs a sleeping Jordie clung to Bobby's shoulder. "He's not going to make through the week!" Lindsay whispered as she stroked Jordies hair off his forehead and kissed his goodnight. Goodnights were said all round and lights turned off, the group of friends sleep soundly as the many lights from different Disneyland Lands stream into their room softly. He was looking for the red sox game, and he found it allright, unfortunatly he also couldn't be bothered cleaning up the mess he had made in the excitement. There was no way he was gonna let Eugene know that he was messy. People had always just asumed he was messy and although they were right he didn't apprieciate it. So he got up early and tried his best to clean up. Uffortunatly in his hurry he missed the empty chip packet under the bed..... Meanwhile there was more sneaking around going on in the room next door. Helen had awoken early purely from a good nights sleep and the excitement for the day ahead, but she also choose to use her time wisely and do something about this clothes business. "Fine she can have the cubboard, but i get the bathroom!!" She wispered to herself with a twinge of venom in her voice. She slid out of bed and grabbed her toiletries bag from her suitcase. Due to her hungryness last night she and Lucy didn't get around to unpacking the toiletries. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door in case Lucy woke up. Helen being Helen had brought just about every item from her own bathroom. She took out every little thing down to her nail files and layed them out carefully on the bench then gave every item a place. She filled up the two cabnets with carefull spacing between bottles to take up maximin space,when just about every holder had been filled neatly and nicely she exited with a feling of triumph. Things were peaceful in the Bec/Ellie room they seemed to be the best group of them all. They both went to bed early, both shared all space and basically got along. It seemed.....but there was something going on, something deseiving that nobody could see coming, some that deep down came from friendship but on some level was not. Bobby and Lindsay unfortunatly had not had such a peaceful night. Jordie had woken up halfway through the night not familar with his surroundings and un able to find his stuffed elephant, had climbed out of bed to seek refuge from his parents. But he couldn't find the bed. "Dad!" He cried, just softly at first as he stood in the dark, but Bobby didn't awaken which caused him to cry out with just about all his might. Bobby and Lindsay jumped suddenly startled by the loud outcry. "Baby, Jordie whats wrong?" Lindsay soothed as she jumped from bed to pick him up, while Bobby flicked on the bedside lamp. Jordies words were incoherent as he continued to sob. "Shhhhh, it's alright now baby we're here shhh" Lindsay continued to sooth as she held him tight and wiped away his tears. After he had stopped crying Jordie expressed his fears. "Couldn't find weeze (that's what he called his elephant) then it was dark, and couldn't find you." Tears started rolling down his soft cheaks again as he retold his fear. "Oh come here little man!" Bobby called as he stretched out his arms, and Jordie climbed ont his fathers lap. "Hey do you remember where we are?" He asked lying back down with his arm around Jordie. Jordieshook his head. "Well remeber we went on the plane, and then we came to Disneyland" Jordie nodded his head "Yeah that's where we are and if we get some sleep tomorrow we can go see mickey, kay?" "Kay..." Jordie agreed but looked hesitant. "Can i sleep here?" Jordie whispered "Sure, come here" Lindsay pulled the blanket up from under him and placed it over him. Jordie snuggled in the middle while Lindsay and Bobby kissed him on the head and turned out the light. When Jordie had fallen asleep Lindsay looked up at Bobby who was still barely awake. "Bobby?" She whispered "Yeah?" "We forgot to bring weeze!" She gave him a worried look and Bobby returned the look, at the thought of the trouble their gonna have when Jordie finds out. ****** "Allright rise and shine you lasy heads!" Helen came paraiding into bobby and Lindsay's room again via Bec&Ellies room. "Uhhh how does she keep getting in here?" Bobby complained as he roled over. "Helen please!" Lindasy pleeded. "Hey some one has to get you two people into shape, think of what effect this will have on Jordie! Huh yeah,!" " Oh what did you do before you had Jordie as an escuse?!" Lindsay complied sarcastically as she turned Helen around and started to push her out fo the room. " Things are different now!" Helen replied with a agreeable look. "But we still have you!" Lindsay finished as she pushed Helen all the way out. "Hey wait i want all three of you ready by 8:30 for breakfast okay." Helen commanded *** "Urrgg..." Eugene groaned as he awoke and rolled over to see where Jimmy was, he was sitting at the bench going through a pamphlet. "Jimmy how long have you been up?" He asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Oh about Half an hour." He lied After Eugene ahd showered and gotten dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, he walked over to find his watch. As he went to pick it up he missed and it fell to the floor, as he bent over to pick it up he saw a flash of green under the bed as he took a closer look he realised it was an empty chip packet. "Jimmy what's this?" He asked with his eyebrows raised. Jimmy looked over and identified the packet immediatly. "Uhh.....oh... it's not mine!" he stammard determained not to reveal his secret. "Well it's not mine and it wasn't there last night!" He asked secretly smiling inside at jimmy scirming, he knew perfectly well it was jimmy's and that jimmy didn't want to be seen as messy. "Oh ok sorry man i didn't know they had messy bed bugs in LA!" He said with a shrug as jimmy pouted. * Lucy still wary from sleep slid out of bed to find helen no where in sight. She shruged and stepped into the bathroom rubbing her eyes. As she regained sight her eyes immdiatly srang open. "Man what a hotel! i expected maybe a few mints and soap but this outragous!" She exclaimed obvously not realising they were helen's. She hopped into the shower and tried out all the bottles that had been lined up. When she got out and got dresses she treated her self to a make over, too excited to notice some were half used up. When finished she excited feeling like a new Lucy. She sat down on her Bed just as Helen entered. Helen was suprised Lucy wasn't screaming at her, she walked into the bathroom only to see her once neat rows all jumbled. She excited the bathroom and looked at Lucy wide eyed. "I know i was amazed myself all that free makeup!" Lucy replied smiling. Helen's face turned red as she tried to keep her anger in. "Count to ten.." she wispered " one.....nine.... ten "Not happy Lucy!"she said through clenched teeth. "What?" Lucy asked forrowing her brow, just as her alarm went off from her watch. "Oh it's 8:30 breakfast, come on lets go!" Lucy smiled happily and brushed past a gapping Helen. "But...wha.............Uummph!" * "You ready for a fun filled day?"Ellenor asked as she applied sunscreen to her arms. "Sure am!" Bec replied while giggling at Lindsay pushing Helen throught the door. "Guys she's on restrriction from this door! Lindsay smiled as Helen reminded everyone to be ready at 8:30. "Sure!" they replied and went back to getting ready. "So Bec what rides are you planning on going on? Ican't wait to go on the tea cup ride!" Ellenor said innocently. "Oh i don't know about rides.....what's the tea cup ride?" Bec asked worriedly "Oh it's quite safe... it's supposed to be really fun!" Elle answered dodging the question. "Well we'll see!" * "Hey has he asked yet?" Bobby whispered "No not yet, let's hope he'll get so caught up with everything he'll forget!" Lindsay replied as she finished getting dressed and walked over to Jordie to get him ready. "Ok Jord let's get dressed!" Lindsay sighed and pulled out a pair if army green cargo shorts and a red t-shirt and little sandles. "I can do it myself mom!" he exclaimed happily "You sure?" Lindsay asked a little skeptical. "Yep you see!" Jordie jumped up and got to work while Lindsay sat on the bed to watch her son. "No mommy, not look i supprise you!" Jordie pouted. "Ok fine you come get me when your finished." Lindsay raised her eyebrows and sat down at the table. About 10 minutes later Jordie came and slapped his hands on the top of the marble table and exclaimed that he was finished. Lindsay immediatly had to suppress a laugh as she watch jordie twirl around to show his efforts. His t- shirt was on backdefront and she could hardly even recognise the shorts, they had turned into a not very stylish skirt but he did manage to put his sandles on. "Oh wow Jordie you did a wonderfull job!" She smiled and gave him a hug, but Jordie didn't look to happy. "What's wrong honey?" She asked putting him down. "It doesn't feel nice!" Jordie scrunched up his face. "You don't like getting hugs from me?" "No...my shorts!" He pouted. Lindsay couldn't help but laugh at this. "Oh come here baby, let me help." Lindsay helped Jordie get propily dressed and put some sunscreen on the both of them. 'knock, knock' Bobby still laughing from watching Jordies efforts opened the door to see an almost pouting Helen. "Woah!" Bobby exclaimed and put a hand to his head. "What!" Helen asked annoyed. "You know how to knock!" "Yep that's great... it's eight thirty so lets go!" *** The rest of the gang rounded up and they all made there wasy downstairs. "Wow look at the menu!" Exclaimed jimmy his eyes almost popping out of there sockets as his scrolled down the large menu before him. "Yeah this is great!" Bec joined in the praises. "Don't eat too much, we've got to do alot today and we don't want anyone getting sick." warned Elle. Every one ordered and got down to eating with a few small conversations. Lindsay's eyes went from Lucy's face to Helen's back and forth. "Helen is Lucy wearing your make up?" She whispered to Helen who was sitting next to her. "Don't even get me started on lucy she's insufferable." Helen scowled. Upon hearing her name Lucy looked over to Lindsay. "What?" She asked. "Oh nothing...i...we were talking about my freinds pussy." Helen rolled her eyes as Lindsay gave a little shrug. "The pussy's insufferable?" Lucy complied and went back to finishing her breakfast. After everyone was Finished they set off. The sun was shining and there was only a slight breeze with out a cloud in the sky.
