Where Are You Now?

Calling out your name
Mimi is asleep and having what looks like a bad dream. She keeps mumbling the same name, Lillymon, Lillymon
Your face is everywhere
Mimi starts tossing and turning, yelling even louder, Lillymon, Lillymon
I'm reaching out to you, to find that you're not there
Mimi reaches her hands out, still asleep, but grips nothing but air
I wake up every night
Mimi suddenly springs awake, eyes wide with fear
To see the state I'm in
Mimi looks at her nightstand to see a picture of her and Palmon. The picture makes her really sad
It's like an endless fight I never seem to win
Mimi hugs the picture to her chest, thinking about the dream she was having, when Apocolymon was defeating Lillymon with the 'Crimson Lightning' attack
But I can't go on
Mimi places the picture back on her nightstand and takes out her crest from beneath her shirt
As long as I believe
She studies the crest, looking it over and over
Can't let go
She gives the crest a little kiss, imagining that it was Palmon, and that she was kissing her goodnight
When I keep wondering
Mimi places her crest back inside her shirt and quickly starts getting dressed
Where are you now?
Mimi finished dressing and dials Koushiro's number
What have you found?
He picks up and she quickly explains her need to see Palmon and the recurring dreams that she has been having. He says that he'll see what he can do to get them all back to the digiworld
Where is your heart?
Mimi hangs up and grabs her digivice from her drawer, and strapping it on to her purse, she rushes to Koushiro's house
When I'm not around?
As Mimi drives down the road to Koushiro's house she remembers all the times she has had with Palmon
Tell me, where are you now?
She remembers when Palmon first digivolved to Togemon, to help save her friends from Monzaemon, leader of toy town, who was suffering from a black gear
Ya gotta let me know
Then Mimi remembers when Togemon first digivolved into Lillymon, to save her and her family from Myotismon
Oh baby, So I can let you go
As Mimi remembers another time with Palmon she realizes that she's parked in front of Koushiro's house. She exits her car and rushes to Koushiro's door and knocks
I can hear your voice
Yamato answers and explains that everyone is there already and that they were waiting for her so they can depart
Bring of yesterday
Mimi walks in Koushiro's house and into his living room with Yamato. As she does she notices how handsome he has gotten
It seems so close to me
As Mimi enters Koushiro's living room she sees all her friends gathered around him, with his computer out. They all held their digivices and crests, ready to depart to the digiworld to see their friends
And yet so far away
Koushiro tells her that he is ready to take them all to the digiworld
I should let it out
Mimi smiles happily and thanks Koushiro. He tells everyone to go outside to his backyard to prepare for departure
To say what's left of me
They exit his house and walk to his backyard. Koushiro brings his computer. He starts pressing a few buttons and after about five minutes he says, "Ready!"
And close the doors of doubt
He tells them all to hold their digivices into the air and a dimensional gap should open up and take them to digiworld
Without my dignity
They all do this and they start floating up
But I can't go on
As they float up, Takeru screams in terror since he is scared. Yamato is too far away to get to him, so Mimi floats over to comfort him. Yamato gives her a 'thank you' look. Mimi smiles
As long as I believe
They float up out of anyone's sight that could be on the ground, looking up at them. Then, they start falling to the ground, the digi-ground
Can't let go
'AHHHHHHH!' They all scream, terrified out of their wits
When I keep wondering, Where are you?
On the ground, Palmon, Gabumon, Agumon, Biyomon, Patamon, Tentomon, Gomamon, and Gatomon look up in wonder at the 'mysterious' beings falling from the sky
Where are you now?
As the digimon keep looking up they notice who the people are
What have you found?
'Mimi!' 'Yamato!' 'Taichi!' 'Sora!' 'Takeru!' 'Koushiro!' 'Jyou!' 'Hikari!' they all scream
Where is your heart?
As the humans fell towards the ground, Palmon used her 'Poison Ivy!' attack to catch them all. She then lets them gently on the ground
When I'm not around?
'What are you doing here?' she asks. 'We came to visit!' Mimi answered, sitting on the ground, gripping her leg
Tell me, where are you now?
Mimi and Palmon, along with all the other digi-kids and digimon give each other hugs. Mimi is crying
Ya gotta let me know
Mimi and Palmon stop hugging and Palmon asks her what's wrong. 'My leg! It hurts! I think it's broken!'
Oh baby, So I can let you go
'But Mimi, I can't carry you! We have to get to Gennai's house to tell them you're here!' 'Don't worry Palmon, I can carry her' Yamato offered. Mimi wiped her eyes and smiled, 'Thanks Yamato!'
*Musical Interlude*
During this time, they start walking towards Gennai's house. Yamato is carrying Mimi and they are chatting with Palmon and Gabumon. Despite her hurt leg, Mimi is having a great time. 'No wonder I had a crush on Yamato/Mimi in the digiworld, he's/she's great, and cute too!' they both thought at the same time. Suddenly Koushiro interrupted their thoughts with "Here we are! We arrived at Gennai's house!"
*End Musical Interlude*
I should let it out
'Gennai, look who's here!' Gennai came out of the river and greeted the digidestined
It's time to let you go!
'Guess what everyone! Since you figured out how to come visit, I made it possible that when you go home, you can take your digimon with you!'
Oh baby, I just wanna know
The digidestined started cheering like they've never cheered before. Although, Yamato found it hard to jump for joy with Mimi in his arms. But, he really didn't mind
Where are you now?
'Mimi, since I can't jump for joy with you in my arms, I'm gonna do the only thing that to me, is better then anything in the world'
What have you found?
'Really, what Yamato?'
Where is your heart?
'This'
When I'm not around?
Then, Yamato did the only thing he could do. He kissed her
Tell me, where are you now?
All the digidestined and digimon stopped cheering, and along with Gennai, they watched in wonder as Yamato and Mimi kissed like they've never kissed anyone before
Ya gotta let me know
Five minutes later, they were still kissing. Gennai started working on sending the digidestined and digimon back to earth
Oh baby, so I can let you go
As they stopped for breath, they started floating into the air. 'Good bye digidestined! Please come and visit me! I'll miss you!' yelled Gennai, as the digidestined floated away from his sight. As they were floating up Yamato and Mimi glanced at each other and said the same exact thing, at the exact same time, 'I love you'

Mimi smiled as she gave both Yamato and Palmon great, big hugs. 'I guess I don't have to let anyone go'
