No news development on the highrise front, however our team is progressing on the VRML BKK project as we speak, more update soon.
Also you might have experience some difficulty accessing this site at certain hours of the day, this is because our domain services provider at Geocities has limited the amount of downloadable
content by visitors to this website to 3GB per months, this is to free up access to other geocities domains. Still we thank Geocities for hosting our site.
It's been a tumultous past couple of weeks - with events in the US and the Middle East. Let's pray for a peaceful end to the crisis and rid this world of terrorists for good.

Here's yet another twist
to the World Trade Centre BKK saga - the last we heard the developer has been filed for bankcruptcy, now it seems like an IMF style rescue package by Central Group is underway to salavage
what is left of this modern ruin . Many thanks to Ron from 2 Bangkokfor sending in the news article.
Soon you'll be able to view short sample animations for the VRML Bangkok project (aha!! no bluffing this time I promise)

Alas!! there's a new
skyscraper diagram/montage depicting high-rises building in Bangkok of 35-45 floors.
World Trade Center Co., the company responsible for constructing the World Trade Center office tower in Bangkok has been filed for bankcrupcy by its main financier, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB).
It still appears uncertain as to whether the original developer will lose the right to develop (ie complete the building). This is not to mentioned that
World Trade Center Co. who already heavily in debt, owing the BMA (Bangkok Metropolitan Admin') hundreds of million of Bahts in property tax.
More update on the WTC BKK project is still to come... |

Have
you ever had a fit to climb a skyscraper?? Check out the website
of Alain Robert,
find out why this French dude was dubbed the real-life 'Spiderman'.
If you think we're skyscraper fanatic, Alain is an extreme case,
just watch him scaling up some of the world's tallest skyscrapers
with his bare hands.
Bangkok hasn't seen many dare devil skyscraper climbers, yet. Although
last year, an American national did managed to climbed up to the
top of Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn) unnoticed. This wellknown 19th
century BKK landmark is 98m tall. In quite a bizarre incident this
guy also proclaimed he's the reincarnated Buddha (yeh right) at
least the Thai police weren't impress, he was later released but
had to undergo psychiatric assessment with a local skyscraper shrink

Asiaweek
has a special column a while ago (two years ago in fact) on Thailand's
most prominent architect, Dr Sumet Jumsai , designer of the famous 'Robot
Building' in Bangkok. His recent works include a very abstract looking
tower in Geneva (a United Nation's office) Personally I find this
article quite interesting.
